Huawei Technologies recruits Legal Counsel<\/strong> to be based in Nigeria<\/p>\n

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecom Vendors or ICT is
\npreferred and is of top-priority
\nBachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications
\nengineering or relevant Degree as applicable
\nGood Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team
\nspirit and has ability to work independently
\nShould be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition
\nProficient in Microsoft office (Word, excel and power point)
\nApplicants should be open to learning new skills and technology
\nSelf-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral
\nand written
\nMust be ready for international project to the other African countries
\nSuccessful applicants should be Goal-oriented with good interpersonal
\nand communication skills, andbe a very good team player
\nThe successful applicant should be good information gathering and analysis<\/p>\n

LEGAL COUNSEL (NIGERIA)

<\/strong><\/p>\n

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong>
\nLLB (Hons) with minimum of second class lower division from a
\nreputable University
\nB.L with minimum of second class lower division<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong>
\nMinimum of 5 years post call experience acquired from a well
\nestablished law firm in Nigeria or acquired from a reputable private
\nlimited by share in Nigeria
\nThe right candidate must have\u00a0 a sound knowledge of Nigerian courts
\ncivil procedure and practice<\/p>\n

KNOWLEDGE\/ SKILL REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong>
\nThe right candidate must have sound knowledge, skills and sound experience in:
\nLitigation in superior courts of records
\nContracts review and negotiation
\nLegal drafting
\nBusiness and commercial law (Domestic and International trade law)
\nCompany law and law of contracts
\nEmployment and labour law
\nCorporate legal compliance
\nImmigration and employment law
\nBasic Nigerian Telecoms and regulatory<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong>
\nThe candidate must have the skills and ability to appraise and
\nnegotiate complex Contract, Engineering and Construction contracts as
\nthey relate to the<\/p>\n

Nigerian telecoms projects<\/strong>
\nAbility to work independently
\nReadiness to travel at any given time (if required)<\/p>\n
