We are passionate about brewing and have a long tradition of craftsmanship, making superb beer from high quality natural ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Process Artisan \u2013 Packaging, Sagamu Plant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference Number:<\/strong> ABI504<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Sagamu Plant,\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><br \/>\nAmongst other duties, the job holder will;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain, repair and optimise plant and associated devices<\/li>\n<li>Optimise production performance<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the equipment according to good maintenance practice<\/li>\n<li>Assess proper functioning of working machinery and request for repair or replacement in case of need<\/li>\n<li>Assess nature of repair on working machine depending on nature of defect as quick fix, replacement or major overhaul<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate stoppage of machines with team leaders to avoid more unnecessary down time and equipment damage.<\/li>\n<li>Operate the equipment according to the SOP\u2019s and adhering to safe working practices at all times<\/li>\n<li>Maintain housekeeping standards in his area of operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe occupant of this position should possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of NTC (Mechanical or Electrical)<\/li>\n<li>NTC (Mech \/ Elect) or Electromechanical plus SABM Packaging Certificate<\/li>\n<li>OND (Mech\/Elect)<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years as an Artisan Mechanical or Electrical experience in a packaging\/FMCG environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key competencies and attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified, trade-tested artisan<\/li>\n<li>Trade: preferably in Millwright, Electrical or Mechanical<\/li>\n<li>Maintain quality<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and healthy working environment<\/li>\n<li>Work in teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Packaging Operator<br \/>\nReference Number:<\/strong> ABI502<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><br \/>\nAmong other duties, the job holder will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate machine and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and control the process<\/li>\n<li>Operate the equipment according to the work instructions and adhering to safe working practices at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Apply the Manufacturing Way principles and practices<\/li>\n<li>Operate and control the process according to SOP\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Conduct autonomous maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Maintain housekeeping standards in his area of operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe occupant of this position should possess:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NTC plus Trade Test Certificate<\/li>\n<li>OND (Mech\/Elect)<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years\u2019 experience in a bottling line<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key competencies and attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate plant and process equipment<\/li>\n<li>Carry out basic maintenance (level 1-4)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and healthy working environment<\/li>\n<li>Work in teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nMarket Related.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SABMiller is in the beer and soft drinks business, bringing refreshment and sociability to millions of people all over the world who enjoy our drinks.
