From a single country organisation founded in 1949 in Nigeria, UBA has grown to become a Pan-African provider of financial services with over 11 million customers, through close to 1000 business offices and touch points globally.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Graduate Trainee-CSO<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference No<\/strong>: GTLAG001<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type<\/strong>: Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Job Functions<\/strong>: Banking<br \/>\n<strong>Industries<\/strong>: Banking\/Finance &amp; Investment<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure the business office provides excellent quality banking service to all customers.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain contact with new and existing customers on routine account management activities.<\/li>\n<li>To engage customers in cross-selling of the bank\u2019s products and services including E-sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Customer Relations Management\/Sales<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively develop client relationships, anticipate and provide solutions to client needs and give high priority to client satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately assess the risk profile, suitability and appropriateness of clients when marketing the banks products and services by maintaining an accurate and up to date call report, KYC database.<\/li>\n<li>Sale to prospective customers UBA\u2019s E-banking products, enrol new customers, and resolve related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Engage customers to cross-sell bank products and services<\/li>\n<li>Increase product sales, and customer loyalty by maintaining good client relationship.<\/li>\n<li>Open and maintain accounts in accordance with the established procedures. Apply regulatory requirements such as KYC, Money laundering Prevention procedures at all times.<\/li>\n<li>Accomplish tasks efficiently by showing concern for all aspects of the job, pay attention to detail and ensure that output is delivered at the highest possible standard<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the customer\u2019s instructions are duly effected by applying all standard checks and controls, coordinating with other departments including head office operations and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper documentation for all new and existing accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely opening of new accounts on the system.<\/li>\n<li>Support branch sales and service team.<\/li>\n<li>Cheque book issuance and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Dormant account reactivation<\/li>\n<li>Meeter\/Greeter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customer Service Ambassador:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Service improvement<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all walk-in customers are directed to the right counters, assisted in completing transactions, and serviced efficiently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Service issues resolution:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Answer all customer queries, resolve \u2018on the spot\u2019 service issues; escalate to BOM, issues that cannot be handled on the spot.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up customers with pending cases, and keep him\/her informed.<\/li>\n<li>Compile and publish customer satisfaction score daily<\/li>\n<li>Download Customers\u2019 issues from the Group Response Portal (GRP) and monitor resolution of issues logged against the branch through the Business Office staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Educational Qualification<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Educational level \u2013 B.Sc. in any related discipline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior experience in banking operations is highly desirable<\/li>\n<li>Relevant banking experience preferably supporting retail customers<\/li>\n<li>Sales knowledge, skill &amp; Investment<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nSpecification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent the bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers and co-workers<\/li>\n<li>To accept retail and\/or commercial deposits, loan payments, process checking and savings withdrawals<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained<\/li>\n<li>Comply with all bank and regulatory body policies, procedures and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Answer customer inquiries and refers customers to the proper service area for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by the Cash Officer<\/li>\n<li>Verify and receive loan and utility bills payments.<\/li>\n<li>Time-stamp(Validate) and signature-verify all customers\u2019 requests and refer those that require call-back\/status approval to supervisor for action<\/li>\n<li>Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions;
