Sterling Asset is a customer-centric financial service firm and our goal is to exceed clients\u2019 expectation whilst adding value to our employees who help in achieving this objective.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Building Site Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure through on-site supervision and that the construction works are undertaken to required designs, specifications, standards.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safety best practices are being utilized during all site activities.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for management of site team<\/li>\n<li>Monitor site progress.<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations where an extra resource or alternative work processes are required to maintain or increase performance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that quantity of completed work items is agreed with the stated targets.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure maintenance of daily records of all site activities, including information on labor and machines, and any non-compliant on materials or workmanship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Eng\/B.Sc \/ HND in Building Services related disciplines such as Building Engineering \/ Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or other relevant fields.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 6 years post-graduation experience working in building construction site &amp; supervision in a notable construction firm.<\/li>\n<li>Membership of a relevant professional body e.g CORBON, COREN, NIOB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical and infrastructure components.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to budget and forecast spend is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Very good knowledge and usage of MS Office (Word, Excel) and building software including CAD.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management skills.<\/li>\n<li>ability to read constructions\/engineering drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of building and construction products\/services and prevailing market prices.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of statutory regulations and requirements as it relates to building construction.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in using hand and power tools.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Health &amp;
