AVA has three major arms which have been streamlined to meet our customer\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Solution Architect<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Technical<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting Line:<\/strong> Technical Sales Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute proactively to new service development.<\/li>\n<li>The Solutions Architect will develop and articulate solutions based on a customer\u2019s strategic business or technical requirements ascertained from working with multiple business units across the customer\u2019s organization.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the sales team in formulating and building up proposal knowledge, including making technical demos and presentations to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate ability, determination and tenacity to move major initiatives forward and drive focus while consistently thinking of the bottom-line impact of the efforts<\/li>\n<li>Will be involved from pre-sales solution formulation through system deployment; including bid preparation and customer interface resulting in solutions architecture proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the translation of customer needs\/technical requirements to appropriate solutions by liaising with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their specific needs.<\/li>\n<li>Design service solutions for Manages Service customers in line with ITIL and\/or industry best practice &gt; Proven business development experience and familiarity with cloud services markets<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality, up-to-date documentation exists for all service arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical and business consultative leadership throughout the technical life cycle of technical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and develop strategic partnerships with third party suppliers and other internal stakeholders for Cloud Aggregators or Managed Service Providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><br \/>\nSkills &amp; Qualification Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cisco CCNA\/CCDA\/CCIP\/CCNP\/CCDP<\/li>\n<li>Three to Five (3-5) years industry experience<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent in Information Communication Technology or Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative and innovative approach.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in telecom architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive with a positive \u2018can do\u2019 approach.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Cisco equipment essential.<\/li>\n<li>Team player \/ Ability to work independently.<\/li>\n<li>Sound commercial business understanding and risk aware<\/li>\n<li>In-depth Knowledge of Radio\/Microwave and terrestrial transmission systems.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in designing and deploying standardized Voip technologies; SIP and H.323.<\/li>\n<li>Experience relating business requirements to system and infrastructure components and designing the bill of materials for a project.<\/li>\n<li>Set up and maintain a best practice library of company proposals and architectural designs proposed to customers with success and conversion rate indicators.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth level knowledge of networking technologies including but not limited to: TCP\/IP (e.g. interpreting a packet trace file), WAN technologies,VPN(Layer 2 &amp; 3) , QoS, firewalls, routers, switches, DNS, Metro Ethernet, SDH, EoSDH, DWDM, VOIP and Data Centre Designs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demand on the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem solving.<\/li>\n<li>Relationship Management and Analytical Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Background in Telecom and\/Cloud Environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in solution design with focus on IP\/MPLS\/IPLC\/VOIP\/Metro Ethernet\/Data Centre Collocation\/Cloud technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Written and verbal communications<\/li>\n<li>Prioritizing workload of self and others.<\/li>\n<li>Contract negotiation and influencing skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nVery attractive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@alfred-victoria.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@alfred-victoria.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>18th May, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Any application received after this time will be automatically rejected<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alfred &amp; Victoria Associates is one of Nigeria\u2019s leading ICT solution based company.
