To work with us, you must be self-motivated and able to use your initiative \u2013 this is how we bring out the full potential of our employees.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Experienced Accountant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Career Level<\/strong>: Experienced<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly responsible for the company\u2019s accounts function.<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance in supervising the company\u2019s administrative, human resources and corporate services functions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure rendition of monthly and annual returns on PAYE, WHT, etc to relevant authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Support in reconciliation and payment of all taxes and provide advice on tax planning for company\u2019s business activities<\/li>\n<li>Detect and prevent fraud (forensic accounting)<\/li>\n<li>Management of company\u2019s invoicing, balance confirmation and settlement. Also manage company\u2019s invoicing and payment using client\u2019s eProcurement system (especially Ariba).<\/li>\n<li>Prepare financial statements\/cash flow, including monthly\/quarterly\/annual management accounts to guide the management in decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Identify errors and provide strategic recommendations for efficient business operations.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Advice the company on cost management.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of annual budgets and coordinate monthly\/quarterly budget reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Generate annual revenue\/project forecasts and coordinate weekly, monthly and quarterly appraisals to drive revenue generation.<\/li>\n<li>General management of creditors and debtors accounts on weekly basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or any related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience in an accountant position\/accounts payables\/audit in a structured and successful organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be God-fearing<\/li>\n<li>Honesty, integrity and frugality is of utmost importance<\/li>\n<li>Experience in developing business plans and feasibility studies report will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>ICAN, ACCA, MSc.
