We provide leading edge management strategy and HR infrastructure support with exceptional customer service leading to improved performance of our client organisations.<\/p>\n<p>We are professional management consulting firm committed enabling business greatness in Africa through cutting edge modern management practice of Business transformation, Strategy, Change management &amp; Innovation, Leadership, Restructuring &amp; Turnaround management and Training solutions.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Supermarket Store Manager<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Terms of Employment:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improve profit and attain sales target of the supermarket<\/li>\n<li>Deal with all complaints, queries, and other related customer service issues<\/li>\n<li>Recruit and interview new staff for the supermarket<\/li>\n<li>Organize training, orientation, and supervise all departmental managers<\/li>\n<li>Organize holidays<\/li>\n<li>Oversee receiving orders and stock control<\/li>\n<li>Assign and schedule tasks for specific employees and also follow up on the results they generate<\/li>\n<li>Complete all the operational requirements of the store<\/li>\n<li>Appraise, monitor, and plan tasks to be given to individual staff members<\/li>\n<li>Discipline, counsel, and coach employees to maintain positive result generation<\/li>\n<li>Initiate corrective actions, analyze variance, schedule expenditure, and prepare annual budget aside achieving other financial objectives of the organization<\/li>\n<li>Recognize future and present requirements by customers<\/li>\n<li>Establish good rapport with existing and potential customers<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other members of staff that have good understanding about service requirements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain inventories and approve contracts to ensure consistent availability of the required services and merchandise<\/li>\n<li>Study trends, authorize clearance sales and also determine all required sales promotions<\/li>\n<li>Review merchandising by formulating pricing policies<\/li>\n<li>Identify profitability ratio by studying financial statements and operating statements<\/li>\n<li>Study display plans, sale promotion, and advertising towards marketing merchandise in a profitable manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc\/HND in relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years experience in the sales of Lubricants &amp; Petrochemicals.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3-4 years in similar capacity as Supermarket Manager or Senior supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Ability to relate cordially with clients<\/li>\n<li>Possess management proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Ability to plan and execute strategic sales processes<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deliver result copiously<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage other staff members<\/li>\n<li>Possess excellent specific market knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Possess IT and accounting proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead a team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask.<\/li>\n<li>Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good Presentation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills\/Personality:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must have good communication and presentation skills and be result oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Team player, creative, positive, ambitious.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<section id=\"listing-fields\"><\/section>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their Applications with detailed cover letters, resumes and daytime telephone contact numbers to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@mctimothyassociates.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>jobs@mctimothyassociates.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>McTimothy Associates Is a full service Management consulting, Recruitment and Business Training firm that enables business greatness and effectiveness through customer-centric innovative solutions.
