NABTEB 2010\/2011 May\/June Results Released<\/strong> NABTEB said that absence of technical colleges is a threat to Nigeria\u2019s industrial and physical development and urged that priority attention should be given to the recruitment, training and retraining of qualified Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) personnel.<\/p>\n Acting Registrar\/Chief Executive of NABTEB, Dr. Olatunde Aworanti who stated this at a press conference in Benin City to announce the result of the May\/June, called on Christian and Muslim missions to establish Vocational and Technical Schools to engage youths and reduce the alarming crime rate.<\/p>\n According to Dr. Aworanti, out of the 63,612 candidates that sat for the examinations, 20,554 (32.31%) had five credits including English Language and Mathematics, adding that the overall results recorded a decrease of 4.15% failure rate against the previous year.<\/p>\n \u201cIn Education Education, out of the 61,775 candidates who sat for English Language, 33,918 (54.9%) passed at Credit level and above.<\/p>\n \u201cIn Mathematics, out of the 61,846 candidates who sat for the examination, 33,682 (54.5%) passed at Credit level and above.
