Branch.co is revolutionizing banking in Nigeria, Kenya, India and Tanzania, and will soon expand to other countries across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Loan Review Associate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>This role will be responsible for day to day loan appraisal, loan disbursement and other payment processes.<\/li>\n<p><strong>Key Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate loan applications for all new borrowers applying for Branch loans<\/li>\n<li>Escalate any credit and risk matters to the team lead<\/li>\n<li>Propose and escalate areas of continuous improvement to the product team<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as may arise on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Identify and report potential fraud<\/li>\n<li>Manage refunds, repayments, and other payment processes<\/li>\n<li>Update documentation related to loan reviews and payment processes<\/li>\n<li>Initiate manual disbursements to customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Finance\/Banking\/ Business<\/li>\n<li>1 year experience in a credit, loan review, risk management\u00a0 role<\/li>\n<li>Detailed understanding of loan reviews, credit scores and risk levels<\/li>\n<li>An interest in start-up environment and financial services<\/li>\n<li>Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative<\/li>\n<li>Excellent collaborator and team player<\/li>\n<li>Analytical, comfortable analysing data using SQL and Excel with excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are you ready to revolutionize mobile lending in Nigeria and have a great time doing it?
