From a single country organisation founded in 1949 in Nigeria, UBA has grown to become a Pan-African provider of financial services with over 11 million customers, through close to 1000 business offices and touch points globally.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Treasurer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference No:<\/strong> TRN001<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos Island, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job Functions:<\/strong> Analytics,Banking<br \/>\n<strong>Industries:<\/strong> Accounting &amp; Auditing, Banking \/ Finance &amp; Investment, Financial, Services, Investments<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proprietary trading, exchange Income generation and exceeding profit targets<\/li>\n<li>Selling the banks treasury products<\/li>\n<li>Development of Hedge products for the subsidiary and its customers<\/li>\n<li>Maximize return on investments by exploring available instruments that are within the Bank\u2019s risk exposure guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Source and meet customers\u2019 foreign exchange requirements by providing a competitive price and excellent service<\/li>\n<li>Develop and Implement an Effective Liquidity Management Strategy<\/li>\n<li>Establish procedure for monitoring risks, ensuring adherence to delegated\/approved limits, for liquidity credit and market risk parameters and proper risk reporting<\/li>\n<li>Structure interest rate risk to protect the Bank\u2019s earnings against adverse rate movements, while exploiting profit opportunities incurring acceptable risk<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain a foreign currency sales capability to service the Bank\u2019s customer needs efficiently and profitability<\/li>\n<li>ALCO reporting and implementation of strategies and directives<\/li>\n<li>Maintain prudent liquidity in support of the Bank\u2019s business needs, while investing excess funds effectively and profitably<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all aspects of Treasury are conducted within the letter of all applicable laws, regulations and procedures within the region<\/li>\n<li>Balance sheet management<\/li>\n<li>Liquidity management<\/li>\n<li>Develop and Implement an effective Liquidity Management Strategy<\/li>\n<li>Create new business relationships<\/li>\n<li>Risk Measurement, Reporting, Monitoring and Control of the Treasury &amp; Securities in line with the group\u2019s business goals, objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in a numerate discipline<\/li>\n<li>A postgraduate degree in a business\/finance course or professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of derivatives products<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of money market operations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of foreign exchange operations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of financial markets<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the workings of the economy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uba.jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Job\/Index\/21629\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Apply Here<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Customer Service Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> HRLWCA001<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Akure South, Ondo<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Job Functions:<\/strong> Banking<br \/>\n<strong>Industries:<\/strong> Banking \/ Finance &amp; Investment<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure the business office provides excellent quality banking service to all customers.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain contact with new and existing customers on routine account management activities.<\/li>\n<li>To engage customers in cross selling of the bank\u2019s products and services including E-sales<\/li>\n<li>Proactively develop client relationships, anticipate and provide solutions to client needs and give high priority to client satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately assess the risk profile, suitability and appropriateness of clients when marketing the banks products and services by maintaining an accurate and up to date call report, KYC database.<\/li>\n<li>Sale to prospective customers UBA\u2019s E-banking products, enrol new customers, and resolve related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Engage customers to cross sell bank products and services<\/li>\n<li>Increase product sales, and customer loyalty by maintaining good client relationship.<\/li>\n<li>Open and maintain accounts in accordance with the established procedures.
