BIC is committed to its team members and to the promise of helping them unlock their full potential.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Trade Marketing Manager<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible of the merchandising implementation in point of sales in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>Develop shopper and competition understanding in order to be more efficient in our promotion, in-store communication and development of packaging in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible of the implementation of BTL activities in Nigeria working closely with West Africa Product Managers, Nigeria Business Development Manager, Distributors and agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for defining the channel strategy (right portfolio, right pack &amp; relevant POSM for the different channels) in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities \/ Tasks<\/strong><br \/>\nMarketing Plan conception:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prioritize channels for each category and define the relevant activities to support growth of the business in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Support the BDM in defining the optimum distribution strategy in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Define the must have products and relevant POSM for each channel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Marketing Plan execution:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the distributor\u2019s sales team on POSM implementation<\/li>\n<li>Work with the distributor\u2019s sales team on the availability of must have products per channel<\/li>\n<li>Work with Product Managers on packaging development<\/li>\n<li>Brief agency for BTL activities implementation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure follow up of activities execution as per brief<\/li>\n<li>Reporting of activities implemented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Shopper understanding:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build knowledge on the shopper per category and per channel (Who, What, When, Where)<\/li>\n<li>Define key purchasing drivers par category and per channel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competitive intelligence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update price value chain BIC vs. competition for the 3 categories and per channel every quarter<\/li>\n<li>Understand and share main competitors field strategies and competitive advantages in channels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Capabilities building:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Train &amp; coach distributor\u2019s sales team on merchandising<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Technical Skills<\/strong><br \/>\nProfessional skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of sales (channel, distribution, coverage, merchandising)<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of marketing (strategy, operational, communication, research)<\/li>\n<li>Good sense of analysis &amp; planning ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good interpersonal relationship<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Result focus<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills (writing &amp; verbal)<\/li>\n<li>Able to adapt and work in a team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Previous \/ Professional Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Marketing or Sales roles in FMCG or relevant industry<\/li>\n<li>Master degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in both English.
