Currently, we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Drilling Engineering Lead<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Req ID:<\/strong> 1323<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nPosition Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Drilling Engineering Team Lead (DETL) will lead a team of Front End engineers supporting the drilling of Exploration, development, sidetrack Oil and Gas wells in COMPANY\u2019s and in any future assets of the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures full compliance with the Company HSSE policies and procedures, HSSE Standards and all other appropriate HSSE documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Well Delivery Rig Team during execution ensuring the development of specific procedures and that all objectives are achievable within the agreed program time and budget.<\/li>\n<li>Work proactively with and assists\/advise Contract Holders to ensure commercially sound contracting strategies which deliver third party spend savings target. Maintain contact with major stakeholders involved in the contracting process.<\/li>\n<li>Work proactively with subsurface and asset teams to ensure alignment of well deliverables and effective integration of work programs.<\/li>\n<li>Support engagements with regulators and ensure information shared is of high quality and assured.<\/li>\n<li>Key member of the Wells management team with shared responsibility for the HSSE management of Wells activities.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for the timely delivery of optimum well design concepts and programs, following the COMPANY\u2019s Well Delivery Process and ensuring all appropriate review and challenge events are completed and documented according to company business documentation process.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that all Well Engineering material, equipment and services are procured in a cost effective, fit for purpose and timely manner with due regard to Company policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures detailed cost estimation and frontend cost management follows the Well Cost Estimating Manual including required assurance processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures well performance is monitored and reported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work proactively with subsurface and asset teams to ensure alignment of well deliverables and effective integration of work programs.<\/li>\n<li>Support engagements with regulators and ensure information shared is of high quality and assured.<\/li>\n<li>B.Sc or B.Eng degree<\/li>\n<li>15 years minimum local and or international experience in core drilling engineering<\/li>\n<li>IWCF Level 4<\/li>\n<li>Shell round II (Not a prerequisite but added advantage)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Primary Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field Engineer, HSE, BSc, Drilling Engineer, Drilling Operations, Oil &amp; Gas, Operations, QA\/QC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/jobs.cbizsoft.com\/ucbizjobs\/(X(1)S(3k0xihu5kxkja5qqfke0flhm))\/jobview.aspx?jobid=Req-1323&amp;cid=cbizl_okor&amp;consintid=&amp;consid=&amp;contactid=&amp;source=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry.
