Established in 1994, ARM started operations as a traditional asset management company specialising in the management of quoted equities and fixed income securities.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Analyst<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full-Time<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the incubation, launch and operation of a social impact fund, focused on education and healthcare in Nigeria and the West African sub-region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nPreparation of detailed financial models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the development of industry reports, especially in the areas of education and healthcare<\/li>\n<li>Provide support in ensuring the entity and its portfolio companies meet target impact objectives<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to ensure that all compliance &amp; regulatory requirements are met and adhered to<\/li>\n<li>Provide support in deal structuring and financial solutions to investment projects<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate record keeping on all activities of the entity (particularly accounts)<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial information relating to the entity and its portfolio companies<\/li>\n<li>Assist in monitoring the valuation of the entity and projecting returns<\/li>\n<li>Support the prospecting of potential investors in the entity<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of periodic reports to key stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Conduct fundamental research and in-depth analysis on other social impact funds in Africa, Europe, Asia to support informed decisions for the entity as required<\/li>\n<li>Support the identification, profiling and relationship management of potential partners with respect to education and healthcare projects<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Identify and monitor potential investee companies of interest in the education and healthcare sectors<\/li>\n<li>Support the conduct of due diligence on companies and projects of interest (in the education and healthcare sectors) by researching, analyzing financial statements and market data<\/li>\n<li>Assist in building and presenting investment and divestment cases for specific investment opportunities, supporting the provision of all necessary information needed to make investment decisions<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation of investment memoranda and related formal presentations and reports for the investment committee<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain consolidated project financial models for the entity and its portfolio companies<\/li>\n<li>Support the monitoring and evaluation of the financial position of the entity to ensure optimal deployment of investment capital<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum \u2013 B.Sc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preferred Years of Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong ability to evaluate financial statements and accounts<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Appreciable grasp of social finance and the development of social enterprises especially in West Africa<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit high level of initiative<\/li>\n<li>Curious, flexible, creative, with a strong desire to learn<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong numerical and financial modeling skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Generic Skills:<br \/>\nStrong interpersonal skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Written and verbal Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize across concurrent tasks<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail with high-value orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Must be proactive, resourceful, and able to work well independently as well as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on multiple projects<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem solving, lateral thinking and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Energetic and enthusiastic, with a can-do, positive attitude<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with ambiguity, uncertainty and change<\/li>\n<li>Desirable Skills Understanding of the education &amp; healthcare sectors in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the business models of social enterprises<\/li>\n<li>Strong links with social enterprise networks &amp; support org.<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience participating in investments in PE or VC<\/li>\n<li>Experience with fundraising nationally &amp;
