{"id":58340,"date":"2018-06-06T09:20:39","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T08:20:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=58340"},"modified":"2018-06-05T14:06:23","modified_gmt":"2018-06-05T13:06:23","slug":"economic-community-west-african-states-new-job-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/economic-community-west-african-states-new-job-position.html","title":{"rendered":"Economic Community Of West African States New Job Position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ECOWAS Commission has received Grants from the African Development Fund (ADF) and the European Development Fund (through the African Investment Facility \u2013 AfIF) to cover the cost of the study on the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Highway Development Project, and intends to use part of the Grant amount to finance the service contract of an eligible candidate for the Project Implementation Unit in the capacity below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Anglophone Road Engineer (Consultant)<br \/>\nLocations<\/strong>: Benin, Cote D\u2019Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Togo and ECOWAS States<br \/>\n<strong>Unit:<\/strong> Project Implementation<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDetailed Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The services under this contract mainly consist of the day-to-day management of the project. The services include:\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring the management and administration of studies;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing terms of reference\/technical specifications and procurement files;<\/li>\n<li>Managing supplies contracts;<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing technical reports;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing an opinion on the quality and adequacy of reports;<\/li>\n<li>Supervising th conduct of studies;<\/li>\n<li>Organizing and planning study validation meetings and sessions;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting and participating in the donors\/investors roundtable; and<\/li>\n<li>Conducting all other engineering services required for efficient project implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The contract period shall be one (1) year, renewable based on the results of the performance contract signed with the Project. The working languages will be English and French.
