At Accion Microfinance Bank our core values, business philosophy and methodology distinguish us as one of the leading microfinance banks in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Regional Operations Manager \u2013 West<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Chief Operations Officer<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nSummary\/Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To supervise the operational activities of the assigned branches in order to achieve efficient, productive and profitable portfolio in support of the Accion Mfb business strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe responsibilities of this role include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Train and supervise the branch operations staff so that they follow the internal processes and procedures in order that the bank has an efficient and effective workforce.<\/li>\n<li>Develop training manuals to train staff under his\/her supervision on prevalent audit matters\/issues to curtail recurrence.<\/li>\n<li>Review operational risk of the bank so as to comply with internal and external regulations<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinates and manages the activities of the head office\/regional office operations operation staff.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise other regional staff assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in branch expansion, brand management and business development activities in the region.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other ad hoc jobs assigned from time to time..<\/li>\n<li>Develops, implements and updates policies, procedures, standards &amp; processes for the unit.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures adherence to defined operations policies within the Bank.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the IT department to ensure continuous availability and effectiveness of business applications and technology infrastructure required for the Bank\u2019s operations to run smoothly.<\/li>\n<li>Provides effective and efficient report of the operations activities, portfolio status at the branches to management for analysis and decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the branch maintain up to date accurate records and generates necessary report on time.<\/li>\n<li>Support the handling of customers\u2019 complaints according to the different levels of authorization.<\/li>\n<li>Review audit reports of all assigned branches and ensure rate of error are minimal while all audit issues are promptly resolved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of HND or BSc in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, and\/or related fields with numerate coursework.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years cognate experience.<\/li>\n<li>Good time management and planning skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Relationship Management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation skills and business judgment.<\/li>\n<li>Independent worker.<\/li>\n<li>Honest.<\/li>\n<li>Strong management skills; able to coach and motivate.<\/li>\n<li>Industry\/Market knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Financial Analysis \/Interpretation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Planning.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with a Microfinance banking software is recommended.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and oral communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competency\/ Skill Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to manage 7\u00d724 operations for banking and transaction processing .<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Financial analysis \/ Interpretation.<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good written and oral communication.<\/li>\n<li>Results oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive.<\/li>\n<li>Responsive.<\/li>\n<li>Service orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of operations banking processes.<\/li>\n<li>Good customer relationship management.<\/li>\n<li>Business Performance Management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation skills and business judgment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/accionmfb.com\/Pages\/Regional-Operations-Manager-West.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>23rd June, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Only qualified candidates will be shortlisted and contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Accion Microfinance Bank Limited \u2013 Established in 2006, began operations in May 2007 on license from the Central Bank of Nigeria.
