Job Title: DRILLING ENGINEER<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Description:<\/strong>
\nEfficiently use materials, personnel and equipment to implement the well drilling, workover and completion programs on the shelf and deepwater rigs.
\nHave understanding of rig components, how they work and their limitations.
\nUnderstand and able to apply drilling fluids principles and perform well control calculations
\nCalculate volumes for cement jobs and basic mud hydraulics; perform casing tally and space out on the rig
\nEnsure all rig site task-specific procedures have been risk-assessed and rig site QA\/QC plan requirements are addressed
\nRequired Qualifications: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.<\/p>\n

Required Skills:<\/strong>
\nMastery of Wellview Drilling and Database Application.
\nAbility to analyze Drilling Operations data
\nGood organizational and interpersonal skills
\nProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
\nEffective communication skills.<\/p>\n

Experience <\/strong>
\nOne (1) \u2013 Two (2) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) with a minimum of Six (6) months industry experience in Drilling and Completions operations<\/p>\n
