below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Medical Sonologist<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lekki, Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performing ultrasound diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians.<\/li>\n<li>Explaining procedures to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results.<\/li>\n<li>Positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting the scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment by moving scanner over specified body area and adjusting equipment to focus and gives accurate reports of his\/her finding.<\/li>\n<li>Making hard copy of images and document imaging results.<\/li>\n<li>Keep and protection of ultrasound machine against sunlight, electric shock and other hazards.<\/li>\n<li>Following up infection prevention procedures according to standard guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Problem Solving:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages an evolving clinical picture and identify impending changes in patient condition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Information Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyzes complex data sets to improve patient care delivery systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements, Experience &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possession of an MBBS.<\/li>\n<li>Post graduate diploma in Sonology (Optional).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ultrasound\/sonology procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of current health care environment.<\/li>\n<li>Good leadership and mentorship skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Decisiveness and determination.<\/li>\n<li>Interest and concern in patient care.<\/li>\n<li>Rational approach<\/li>\n<li>Certification \u2013 Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria; Certificate of Practicing License; Sonological certification<\/li>\n<li>Professional experience of at least two (2) years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Working Conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, radiation and pharmacological agents.<\/li>\n<li>Work requires standing smear<\/li>\n<li>Counseling of clients based on the outcome of results<\/li>\n<li>Interpreting of medical result for walk in clients and Referral clients<\/li>\n<li>Setting of IV
