You will know how to support the delivery of key events across EMEA driving them to become a strategic marketing tool to market and target specific audiences in the various stages of the buying cycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a creative Senior Events Manager to work across the EMEA market to support Oracle\u2019s Cloud solutions across all lines of business and addressing all segments<\/li>\n<li>With a strong focus on integrated event marketing strategies to attract and acquire net new customers, and engage &amp; build relationships with existing customers you will be able to demonstrate the ability to further establish Oracle\u2019s brand and to generate the levels of attendance &amp; engagement needed to support the required sales leads and pipeline goals as part of truly integrated marketing campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>You are a marketing specialist working to guide &amp; provide strategic direction for the Field marketing teams as part of a Centre of Excellence, understanding their local &amp; regional needs as well as the company\u2019s overall marketing strategy<\/li>\n<li>You will work to ensure strategic events are seamlessly planned and executed, as well as guiding &amp; providing best practices &amp; consistent experience for locally planned &amp; executed activities<\/li>\n<li>You constantly analyze the ROI of events you manage and adapt the marketing plan accordingly to achieve optimal pipeline results. This will require a forensic approach to data, measurement, testing &amp; reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be part of the EMEA Events Centre of Excellence to build events as part of strategic integrated marketing programs to generate demand, leads and pipeline contribution utilizing the most leading and up to date event marketing techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Strategically plan, manage and execute or guide execution of measurable, integrated event marketing plans<\/li>\n<li>Align event execution to the correct stage of the buying cycle and solution areas based on the persona with an emphasis on cross line of business synergies<\/li>\n<li>Act as a key partner with the Field Marketing teams and event managers to create &amp; drive opportunities that contribute to the overall success of the business.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, analyse and report on performance of each event and communicate results and plan for improvement; check lead quality and sales follow-up, and action timely if required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Acts as a virtual team liaison for corporate business initiatives, programs and launches. Communicates program status, action items, and deliverables across Field Marketing team and Sales.<\/li>\n<li>Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.<\/li>\n<li>Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in Sales support of pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings<\/li>\n<li>Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of events marketing discipline and integrated marketing\u00a0 especially multi channel digital marketing; thorough knowledge and practical working experience of a wide range of direct digital marketing channels from website, to search engine, to social media channels, to digital multi-touch and nurture campaigns to maximize event efficacy and impact.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working with third party suppliers and managing &amp; motivating agencies to push creative barriers in communicating with customers<\/li>\n<li>Excellent budget &amp; project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic, open, flexible and extravert personality with strong drive and proven ability to perform in high-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Results driven (pipe line driven) and team-work oriented<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English<\/li>\n<li>University Degree required, with a focus on Sales, Marketing or Business preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong business acumen, analytical competency and influencing skills. Able to focus on the detail as well as the bigger picture.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable competencies in technology Marketing; experienced in developing and executing integrated marketing plans for technology companies based on business needs and with a deep understanding of audience generation strategies and segmentation for the complete buying cycle.<\/li>\n<li>Strong project planning and execution skills, with strong sense of project ownership and ability to anticipate possible roadblocks and provide viable solutions<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask and manage time effectively, and keep schedules and projects in order and up to speed<\/li>\n<li>Experience of using current marketing and sales processes and systems, preferred experience with Eloqua and event automation solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide consultative input to senior Sales leaders<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of business management and operations, including finance\/revenue\/pipeline principles<\/li>\n<li>Able to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams<\/li>\n<li>Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed.
