The privately-owned company is the largest subsidiary of holding company Tetra Laval International.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Automation Engineer<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview of the Position<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The automation engineer would be actively responsible for design, implementation, testing and commissioning of automation solutions.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent would be supporting the Market companies with developing automation strategies and executing automation projects.<\/li>\n<li>He would provide necessary technical support and service to our customers.<\/li>\n<li>He would also be expected to support for automation pre project costing and sales activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordination, promotion and sales of our automation products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Create automation related documentation for projects.<\/li>\n<li>Able to understand and review electrical drawings<\/li>\n<li>Panel testing with panel vendors<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of field instrumentation<\/li>\n<li>Automation network topologies<\/li>\n<li>Participate in plant commissioning<\/li>\n<li>Collect market info and create cluster PDNs<\/li>\n<li>Data collection and reporting of automation install base<\/li>\n<li>Drive automation upgrades sales<\/li>\n<li>Carry out automation upgrades<\/li>\n<li>Conduct automation training for customer personnel<\/li>\n<li>Develop the automation Service Concept.<\/li>\n<li>Development and commissioning of plant automation systems (hardware and software) as part of an overall production solution combined by process and automation<\/li>\n<li>Coordination with Projects team<\/li>\n<li>Technical support, commissioning and troubleshooting activities \u2013 remote and\/or at site<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of software upgrades<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SQL databases, SQL Scripting, networks and windows environment<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and perform FAT tests with end customers<\/li>\n<li>Participate in writing and reviewing function diagrams and function specifications<\/li>\n<li>Perform Hardware configuration, system setup and tests of configurations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and contribute in customer meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness to travel<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years proven ability in automation engineering<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>PLC programming (Siemens &amp; Allen Bradley) experience is critical.<\/li>\n<li>B.Sc or BTech Degree in Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Technical background<\/li>\n<li>Food manufacturing experience is essential<\/li>\n<li>Project knowledge<\/li>\n<li>English language proficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<br \/>\n<\/strong>Interested and qualified candidates should:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.tetrapak.com\/job\/Lagos-Automation-Engineer-LA\/461069001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>30th June, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tetra Pak \u2013 Which takes its name from the original tetrahedron-shaped cartons it developed \u2013 manufactures and markets food packaging containers, filling systems, and distribution equipment for industrial customers in&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[24],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Tetra Pak New Job Positions - Apply Now!
