We deliver technical development aid assistance on behalf of major international donors, principally the European Union, and we work toward achieving real progress in combating some of the most difficult international development issues.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Field Supervisor<br \/>\nLocations<\/strong>: Adamawa, Ekiti and Plateau<br \/>\n<strong>Project:<\/strong> Technical Assistance for Implementation of Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme Phase III (WSSSRP III)<br \/>\n<strong>Category:<\/strong> Junior Non Key Expert (JNKE)<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong> 1 Year (renewable)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Technical Assistance Team (Hulla &amp; Co Human Dynamics KG) is seeking the services of qualified Site Inspectors who will provide technical expertise in the contract management and supervision of the works contract under the European Union supported Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme Phase Ill (WSSSRP Ill) Adamawa, Ekiti and Plateau states.<\/li>\n<li>The water works contract management and supervision will be conducted in the selected small towns in the 6 selected LGAs in the 3 participating states Adamawa State (Mubi South and Furore LGAs), Ekiti State (Gbonyin and Ekiti West LGAs) and Plateau State (Riyom and Shendarn LGAs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The JNKE Site Inspectors will perform supervision over the implementation of all Contractor\u2019s activities and ensure their compliance with the terms of the Works Contract, quality requirements and main design from the conclusion of the contract to technical inspection, including preparation of the takeover certificate and takeover record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Profile of the Expert<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation and Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree and\/or vocational education degree in the field of Civil Engineering;<\/li>\n<li>Registered member of Council For The Regulation Of Engineering In Nigeria (COREN);<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing and reporting skills;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English;<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills \u2013 MS office<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills \u2013 Auto-Cad would be an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>General Professional Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the field of engineering;<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in implementation of water supply and sanitation projects;<\/li>\n<li>Work experience in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specific Professional Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years\u2019 experience in projects related to water rehabilitation\/ improvement in urban areas\/small towns (civil, electrical, mechanical works and installation of equipment);<\/li>\n<li>Experience in supervision of water works contracts in urban and small towns;<\/li>\n<li>Experience with implementation of CLTS approach will be an advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the use of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Resident Engineer<br \/>\nLocations<\/strong>: Adamawa, Ekiti and Plateau<br \/>\n<strong>Project:<\/strong> Technical Assistance for Implementation of Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme Phase III (WSSSRP III)<br \/>\n<strong>Category:<\/strong> Senior Non-Key Expert (SNKE)<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong> 1 Year (renewable)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Technical Assistance Team (Hulia &amp; Fluency in English; Computer skills \u2013 MS office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>General Professional Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in engineering;<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in implementation of water supply and sanitation projects;<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa;
