Gas organization providing Marine Consultancy, Vessel Manning Services, Vessel Maintenance and Repairs, and Shipping solutions to local and international maritime operators in Nigeria and across the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>We require the service of a resourceful and self-driven individual to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Account Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Ref:<\/strong> SG2018003\/FA03<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Account Officer is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the day to day financial activities of the company to enable strategic and operational decision making.<\/li>\n<li>His\/her responsibilities are to create and maintain a robust and sound accounting system, and an effective financial reporting process.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure utility payments are made on time to ensure uninterrupted internet, telephone and power services<\/li>\n<li>Produce and submit accurate weekly\/monthly financial reports to Manging Director on time<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage budgets<\/li>\n<li>Review internal finance procedures in line with best practices to ensure due process in Swets accounting processes<\/li>\n<li>Other company related assignments that may be required from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Keep and maintain comprehensive account records<\/li>\n<li>Verification of cost and cost control<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and interpret cash flow and forecast future trends<\/li>\n<li>Provide and interpret financial information<\/li>\n<li>Manage the company\u2019s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and prompt filling of returns and remittance of statutory deductions e.g. PAYEE, WHT, VAT and Pension<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Finance, Accounting, or any other related fields with minimum of relevant working experience.<\/li>\n<li>ACCA, ICAN or other relevant professional certification.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Nigeria tax laws<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Finance and Auditing<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in use of Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications and CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<strong>chigozirim.ukaha@swetsgroup.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>20th July, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Swets Group is a customer-focused Maritime Oil &amp;
