{"id":59901,"date":"2018-07-05T09:40:56","date_gmt":"2018-07-05T08:40:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=59901"},"modified":"2018-07-04T15:48:50","modified_gmt":"2018-07-04T14:48:50","slug":"chevron-nigeria-limited-current-recruitment-2-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/chevron-nigeria-limited-current-recruitment-2-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"Chevron Nigeria Limited Current Recruitment [2 Positions]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) is one of the worlds leading integrated energy companies, with subsidiaries conducting business worldwide including Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>We hereby invite applications for employment, in the position specified below from qualified candidates:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Staff Physician \u2013 Surgeon<br \/>\nLocations<\/strong>: Lagos or Warri, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nKey Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide day to day surgical care services and call coverage<\/li>\n<li>Develop a minimal access surgical services and endoscopy services<\/li>\n<li>Provide surgical assistance for Obstetrics and Gynecology Operations<\/li>\n<li>Lead surgical Team in Medical division to provide superior surgical services in a safe and controlled condition<\/li>\n<li>Support Occupational health and preventive surgical health<\/li>\n<li>Provide other General Medical services and Emergency medical response<\/li>\n<li>Support the medical leadership in the day to day hospital administration<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the medical leadership or Medical Director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FWACS (Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons) or FMCS (Fellow of the Medical College of Surgeon) or Equivalent Specialist Qualification in General Surgery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five (5) year post fellowship qualification in general surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Special Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working experience in minimal access surgery and endoscopy<\/li>\n<li>IT skills \u2013 proficiency in computer use and IT applications especially medical information system is essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emergency medicine qualifications \u2013 BLS, ACLS &amp; ATLS<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills \u2013 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients as well as other Team members as a tool for effective management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration and Conditions of Service<\/strong><br \/>\nThe salary attached to this position and the general conditions of service including medical benefits are very attractive and fall within the range obtainable in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.<\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.chevron.com\/job\/Lagos-Staff-Physician-Surgeon-Lago\/488467400\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Staff Physician \u2013 Cardiologist<br \/>\nLocations<\/strong>: Lagos or Warri, Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide regular clinical consultations and reviews in general medical duties and ambulatory care for CNL staff and eligible dependants<\/li>\n<li>Provide specialist cardiology services and care and echocardiology services<\/li>\n<li>Provide general and specialised in-patient care as needed and \u2018on-call\u2019 basis<\/li>\n<li>Attend to medical emergencies and call duties on 24 hours basis.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement preventive health services for the control and prevention of diseases including health promotion activities.<\/li>\n<li>Organize and coordinate effective training and continuing medical education programs \/updates for medical services including safety\/clinical meetings; case reports etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the staff physician-in-charge in the day-to-day running of the hospital and perform other duties as may be assigned by the staff physician-in-charge<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other duties as may be assigned by medical leadership or medical director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FWACP (Fellow of the West African College of Physicians) or FMCP (Fellow of the Medical College of Physicians), FRCP (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians) with sub-specialization in Cardiology or Equivalent Specialist Fellowship Qualification in Cardiology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five (5) years post Fellowship qualification experience in Cardiology in a reputable center with emphasis on preventive cardiology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Special Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vast skills in echo cardiograph is essential<\/li>\n<li>Clinical skills \u2013 Excellent knowledge and skills in specialty case management, competency in handling complex medical problems and in ensuring high standard of clinical practice.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills \u2013 Must demonstrate ability to lead the Medical Team in patient management and decision making<\/li>\n<li>IT skills \u2013 proficiency in computer use and IT applications especially medical information system is essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emergency medicine qualifications \u2013 BLS, ACLS &amp;
