{"id":60054,"date":"2018-07-06T12:52:17","date_gmt":"2018-07-06T11:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=60054"},"modified":"2018-07-06T13:14:19","modified_gmt":"2018-07-06T12:14:19","slug":"niger-delta-development-commission-nddc-foreign-post-graduate-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/niger-delta-development-commission-nddc-foreign-post-graduate-scholarship.html","title":{"rendered":"Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Foreign Post Graduate Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) was established in 2000 with the mission of facilitating the rapid, even and sustainable development of the Niger Delta into a region that is economically prosperous, socially stable, ecologically regenerative and politically peaceful.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited for:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Title:\u00a02018 Foreign Post Graduate Scholarship<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As part of our Human Resource Development initiatives, the NDDC is embarking on Foreign Post Graduate Scholarship Programme to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the Local content programme of the current Administration as well as compete globally in various professional fields.<\/li>\n<li>The scheme is for suitably qualified applicants with relevant Bachelor\u2019s\/Master\u2019s Degree from recognized Universities in the following professional disciplines:\n<ul>\n<li>Agricultural Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Geosciences<\/li>\n<li>Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>Law<\/li>\n<li>Management Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Education<\/li>\n<li>Humanities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Member of National Assembly\/State House of Assembly<\/li>\n<li>Chairman of the LGA<\/li>\n<li>First Class Traditional Ruler<\/li>\n<li>High Court Judge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Persons with evidence of cult membership or criminal record shall not be considered for the award.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC).<\/li>\n<li>First degree with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division for those wishing to undertake a Master\u2019s Degree programme and a good Master\u2019s Degree for PhD candidates from a recognized University.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have gained admission for a Post Graduate Programme in any of the listed disciplines above, in a foreign University.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who have already enrolled in Overseas\u2019 Universities are NOT eligible to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantor\u2019s written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant\u2019s community\/clan:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nddc.gov.ng\/2018%20scholarship.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nApplication Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Application must be made on-line at the Commission\u2019s website: See Link Above.
