We take risk on great ideas, that are disruptive, scalable and sustainable.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Software Engineer \u2013 Front End<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Youverify is looking for a Front-End Software Engineer to join the Technology team in building a \u201cbest-in-class\u201d product that delights our customers<\/li>\n<li>We are seeking someone who has a strong technical background and is passionate about driving new features from inception through release<\/li>\n<li>You will work closely with Product Design to build out reusable UI components for our design system and help drive the usage of these components throughout our customer and applicant facing UI\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>You will drive the implementation of our customer facing dashboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What a typical week may look like at Youverify<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building, testing, and shipping new customer facing code using modern web frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with Design and Product to design and build new features<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and building out new components for our design system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we value in a Software Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years\u2019 experience as a Software Engineer building client-side JavaScript<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of the principles of Design, UI, and UX<\/li>\n<li>Experience building complex responsive designs using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript<\/li>\n<li>Experience integrating with REST APIs<\/li>\n<li>A strong communicator who can bridge concepts across Design, Product, and other Engineering teams<\/li>\n<li>Experience building customer features using modern, component-based UI frameworks like React<\/li>\n<li>Reinventing Identity and Address Verification:<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable and opinionated about client-side state management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Brownie Points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience building accessible UI\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Experience implementing A\/B testing<\/li>\n<li>Experience building motion\/animation-based UI\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency using VueJS<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency using GIT<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you get<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A fast-paced and collaborative environment where we leverage the latest technology<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on coaching and professional development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s, including link to your GitHub profile and portfolio to:\u00a0<strong>hr@youverify.co<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>24th July, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chinook Capital Limited \u2013 We are an early stage venture capital firm with the vision to be the most admired technology investment firm in Africa.
