{"id":60330,"date":"2018-07-13T09:10:35","date_gmt":"2018-07-13T08:10:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=60330"},"modified":"2018-07-12T11:51:58","modified_gmt":"2018-07-12T10:51:58","slug":"unilever-nigeria-plc-ongoing-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/unilever-nigeria-plc-ongoing-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Unilever Nigeria Plc Ongoing Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Unilever Nigeria \u2013 Welcome to Unilever, a global multinational and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company with products sold in over 190 countries and more than 2 billion consumers across the world who use our amazing products everyday!<\/p>\n<p>At Unilever, you can shape your own path as you work with the brands and people that drive our sustainable business growth.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Assistant Procurement Manager \u2013 Indirect<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Number:<\/strong> 18000AJD<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Oregun, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Field:<\/strong> Supply Chain<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Regular<br \/>\n<strong>Job Schedule:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Procurement<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nMain Job Purpose<\/strong><br \/>\n(A concise statement setting out the main purpose and objectives of the job.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for tactical sourcing of Indirect Procurement goods and services in Country cluster Nigeria for portfolio Business Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><br \/>\n(Please describe the responsibilities and end results that would be expected.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Efficient, timely and transparent communication to internal customers and suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Work within defined Procurement procedures (Ways of Working) and adhere to the Code of Business Principles at all times<\/li>\n<li>Work in an effective, cohesive team environment (Ability to understand all areas of Indirects Procurement)<\/li>\n<li>Supplier Relationship Management<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to travel.\u00a0 Average travel anticipated 2-4 days per month<\/li>\n<li>Integrating global \/ regional sourcing strategies with business and category demands, ensuring timely inputs to global\/regional project development and OTIF execution of global\/regional projects in the cluster.<\/li>\n<li>Act as first point of contact for the business for issues\/questions relating to Indirects Procurement goods or services in assigned portfolio, Ariba Buyer and the service from IP 3rd party service provider (IBM) for Sourcing Unit\/business unit<\/li>\n<li>Work with users in the Country cluster to analyse and collate information regarding current requirements and future needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nProcurement Strategies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, implement and drive procurement strategies for tactical sourcing in the cluster<\/li>\n<li>Support the procurement organization to meet goals and objectives in support to the overall Unilever strategy<\/li>\n<li>Engage with Procurement Managers (Strategic Sourcing team) to understand if a sourcing strategy and strategic contracts are in place for the portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of Tactical and Strategic sourcing agreements at assigned site cluster level within the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Support Procurement Managers and Cluster lead by providing timely and accurately assistance on relevant topics and initiatives as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support Tactical and Strategic sourcing projects as required<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate procurement projects him\/herself as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vendor management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identification and initial assessments of suppliers for assigned portfolio and site clusters<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and manage supplier selection process for assigned spend and site clusters using available tools\u00a0 (BW) when applicable and standardised templates (RFI\u2019s, RFQ\u2019s)<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Legal Counsel and\/or Patents to finalise commercial agreements using Unilever contractual operating framework of UPAs or MSAs.
