We provide cost-effective technical solutions to enable the delivery of complex projects in all water depths and challenging environments.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Cost Controller<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Vacancy ref:<\/strong> 59123<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting To:<\/strong> Project Control Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Business area:<\/strong> Surf and Conventional<br \/>\n<strong>Working hours:<\/strong> 40 hours per week<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Senior Cost Controller reports to the Project Control Manager.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she is vested with the responsibility to assist the Manager\/Department in the discharge of his day to day tasks.<\/li>\n<li>This role shall be executed within the utmost respect of Company\u2019s procedures, Code of Business Conduct and Core Values.<\/li>\n<li>All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Key Responsibilities &amp; Activities<\/strong><br \/>\nProject Logistic Operation Reporting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage SAP\/Cobra Structure<\/li>\n<li>Manage the phasing of Logistics costs (ACWP\/ETC)<\/li>\n<li>Periodic review of Logistics budget and justification of additional costs with Lead\/PCM\/POM\/PM<\/li>\n<li>Tool Update \u2013 Load Budget in COBRA (Cost Control\/Budgeting software)<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up logistic file for Nigeria and outside(Example\u2026.Gibraltar, Onne\/PHC, SNI)<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up Crew change + Accommodation + Feeding + Travel + PIT for all offshore personnel<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up Handling + Trucking + Port Dues + Freight Forwarding<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up on actual postings and commitments in SAP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Project Management Team Manning Reporting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update Man-hours follow-up File, with extract SAP \u201cCADO\u201d and re-estimate from Budget Owners (Forecast)<\/li>\n<li>Manage SAP\/Cobra Structure for Man-hours collection<\/li>\n<li>Define ACWP (Sap actuals + Estimate missing) and ETC(update MOB\/DEMOB dates)<\/li>\n<li>Periodic review of PMT budget and justification of additional costs with Lead\/PCM PM<\/li>\n<li>Update Follow-up Travel Expenses, Environment Recharges for Expat &amp; Missions, Personnel PIT, IT and Offices Recharge<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up on Management Fee recharges<\/li>\n<li>Tool Update \u2013 Load Budget in COBRA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Project Revenue Reporting On Reimbursables:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supplier Invoices collections, identification, WBS\/NWA Allocation (SAP), send for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Reimbursable Time Sheets collections<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up on Cost Register (WBS &amp; re-invoicing) for proper identification of reimbursable items<\/li>\n<li>Update Contract Department on items\/costs due to be reimbursed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Project Financial Accounting Reporting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PFA check Accruals registered ( ACWP Estimated = Actual + Provision)<\/li>\n<li>Matching ACWP\/SAP per Currency and Company<\/li>\n<li>Correct, if required, ACWP and\/or SAP (Accrual Journal entries)<\/li>\n<li>ACWP\/SAP Variance justification(Accrual)<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up POC monthly estimate and calculation<\/li>\n<li>POC Variance explanation to Group<\/li>\n<li>Participate to the preparation of the tax reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Task\/Reporting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administrative\/Monthly SharePoint Audit\/COSA\/Hard Copy Filing PMSR<\/li>\n<li>Weekly Cost Control Meetings\/Cost Control Reports<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and Supply information to Auditors with Management authorization<\/li>\n<li>Give feed-back to Estimating Department during Project execution and at the end when required<\/li>\n<li>Exchange information with Countries and Departments<\/li>\n<li>Support to reporting Department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Relationships\/ Stakeholders<\/strong><br \/>\nExternal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>External Auditors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Internal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Team (Contract, Operations, SCM\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Treasury Team<\/li>\n<li>General Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Global Finance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Person Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A University Graduate (B.Sc) or HND Graduate in Accounting\/Finance with a minimum of 5 years\u2019 cognate experience,<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy building relationships in a team oriented environment,<\/li>\n<li>Experienced multitasker, with a focus on effective prioritization,<\/li>\n<li>Ability to utilize knowledge and previous experience to contribute and assist in meeting the Group\u2019s objectives,<\/li>\n<li>Good command of Pack office \/ SAP.<\/li>\n<li>Cost Control prior experience in Oil and Gas industry is a must<\/li>\n<li>Highly motivated and ability to work under pressure,<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills,<\/li>\n<li>Strong organization, analytical, and project management skills,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/careers.subsea7.com\/Exp\/VacancyInformation.aspx?VId=59123\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>13th August, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Subsea 7 is a world-leading seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry.
