Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale, GE delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are invited for:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Title:\u00a0Early Career GIP Intern program \u2013 Sales<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref No:<\/strong> 3132860<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Function:<\/strong> Sales<br \/>\n<strong>Business Segment:<\/strong> Healthcare Sustainable Solutions<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GE Africa\u2019s Early Career Graduate Internship Program (GIP) is a 12 month leadership program designed to give recent university\/college graduates challenging work assignments, training and development, and exposure to leadership<\/li>\n<li>The program combines hands on experience and formal training to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to become leaders in GE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nKey responsibilities include (but not limited to):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop strategies for key target and competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements<\/li>\n<li>Providing leadership in market analysis and development\/execution of strategies and action plans to enable sales<\/li>\n<li>Generating proposals, planning customer meetings<\/li>\n<li>Providing project management support for new and ongoing projects\/programmes<\/li>\n<li>Owning relationships with selected GEHC partners<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain a high level of GEHC product knowledge and competitors\u2019 products<\/li>\n<li>Achieve quarterly and annual project\/programme development targets through accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biomedical Bachelor\u2019s Degree or similar Health Science, Business Studies Degree or Engineering Degree or higher \/or equivalent knowledge or experience<\/li>\n<li>0 \u2013 2 years\u2019 experience in medical diagnostic environment<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business needs as well as to sales meetings and tradeshows<\/li>\n<li>To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned\/leased, privately owned\/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record<\/li>\n<li>A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required<\/li>\n<li>Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desired Characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership ability<\/li>\n<li>High performer with a passion to achieve positive business results<\/li>\n<li>Curiosity and desire to learn and expand skill set<\/li>\n<li>Flexible, adaptable, and open to change<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail ensuring timely follow-up and closure<\/li>\n<li>Clear, concise and articulate communication skills \u2013 verbal, written and listening<\/li>\n<li>Able to take on ad-hoc assignments and work flexible hours as required<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle business sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational and efficiency skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within a very busy environment where deadlines are clearly defined and must be met<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.gecareers.com\/ShowJob\/Id\/56081\/Early-Career-GIP-Intern-Sales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GE is the world\u2019s Digital Industrial Company, transforming industry with software-defined machines and solutions that are connected, responsive and predictive.
