{"id":61176,"date":"2018-07-27T14:34:35","date_gmt":"2018-07-27T13:34:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=61176"},"modified":"2018-07-27T14:34:35","modified_gmt":"2018-07-27T13:34:35","slug":"edlp-nigeria-limited-latest-vacancies-3-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/edlp-nigeria-limited-latest-vacancies-3-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"EDLP Nigeria Limited Latest Vacancies [3 Positions]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EDLP Nigeria Limited is Nigeria\u2019s first discount supermarket and retail chain that is being created by Nigerians, specifically for the Nigerian retail market.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Category Manager, Fresh<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p>Summary of the Role<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The main activities of the Category Manager Fresh (CMF) is sourcing, contracting and buying high volume-rotation goods for the Fresh and Frozen groups following the procurement plan, and building and managing a sales-driven and profitable SKU range per category, according to the assortment policy and with taking into account the category management principles<\/li>\n<li>The CMF is involved with building an effective and efficient supply chain model together with the Logistic department<\/li>\n<li>The CMF builds and maintains strong relationships with the suppliers, knows the Nigerian FMCG market very well and knows what is going on at the commodity market<\/li>\n<li>The CMF understands the mission, vision and values extremely well and has a deep understanding as to what drives our JARA customers to do their shopping at our store concept across Nigeria on regional and national level.<\/li>\n<li>Next to this, the CMF develops a traffic-driven promo program for Fresh &amp; Frozen in collaboration with the CMD, the Marketing manager and the involved suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Through excellent negotiation skills the CMF is able to agree on low purchase prices and on extra discounts with the suppliers in order to create high traffic and better margins for each category, despite JARA\u2019s low pricing strategy<\/li>\n<li>The CMF oversees the developments within the categories for maintaining the most efficient Fresh &amp; Frozen assortment, manages the sales prices for each SKU and the margin mix for each category according JARA\u2019s price strategy, calculates the budgets and the expected profits in close collaboration with the Commercial director.<\/li>\n<li>Next to the daily assortment and pricing business, the CMF is involved with reviewing the merchandise rules, the planograms and schemograms in close collaboration with the Space manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>9th August, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Information Technology (IT) Administrator\/Support &amp; System Analyst<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Information Technology (IT) Administrator\/Support &amp; System Analyst takes care of the aspects of communication equipment and computer systems which includes installation, service, upgrades and maintenance. The ITASSA role is to ensure proper computer operations so that end-users can accomplish organizational tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end-user help requests. The (IT) Specialist must be knowledgeable in IT networks and computer support.<\/li>\n<li>Problem resolution may require the IT Administrator\/Support &amp; System Analyst to give hands-on help at the desktop level as well as train, solve, offer advice and guidance. The position requires servicing the various building locations as well as lifting and moving computer and communications equipment into place.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she specializes in analyzing and designing different techniques to solve system problems using information technology and is responsible for proffering solutions to issues that have been registered as frequently occurring issues by researching on best practices.<\/li>\n<li>The ITASSA provides end-user support and troubleshooting for office personnel and works with the Head of ICT on the implementation of new technologies.<\/li>\n<li>The ITASSA also plays a role in coordinating field installations and upgrade initiatives, including assisting the Head of ICT in facilitating field activities such as upgrading systems with the latest versions of software, the rollout of new hardware and field training after intensive tests on a test environment.<\/li>\n<li>The ITASSA is responsible for preparing and submitting comprehensive feasibility studies including detailed documentation of procedure and personnel utilization with recommendations identifying specific computer application areas.<\/li>\n<li>The ITASSA performs any other duties as required.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She can perform his duties from a central location or on location.
