{"id":6136,"date":"2010-10-14T00:34:03","date_gmt":"2010-10-13T23:34:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=6136"},"modified":"2010-10-14T02:42:38","modified_gmt":"2010-10-14T01:42:38","slug":"adexen-recruitment-agency-gm-operations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/adexen-recruitment-agency-gm-operations.html","title":{"rendered":"Adexen Recruitment Agency: GM Operations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/adexen.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-318\" title=\"adexen\" src=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/adexen.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"125\" height=\"104\" \/><\/a><strong>Adexen Recruitment Agency<\/strong> is mandated by a logistic company specialized in  multimodal transport (Sea freight, Air Freight, Trucks) for a GM Operations.<\/p>\n<h2>Job description<\/h2>\n<p>The GM Operations must have a confirmed successful experience of operation  management in the logistic\/transport industry.<\/p>\n<p>The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Job Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for coordination of all Air\/Sea freight operation including  import &amp; export<\/li>\n<li>Planning, Controlling and Tracing the movement of Air, Sea and Trucking  shipments<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the documentation department and coordinate custom clearance  procedures to ensure prompt delivery and ensure that client trade compliance  policy is followed strictly<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up to date filing system and ensure closure of file  after delivery<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the new haulage department<\/li>\n<li>Analyze logistics data reports to identify &amp; actualize cost savings and  opportunities for all segments<\/li>\n<li>Review and analyze expenditure, financial, and operations reports to  determine need for increase in fares or tariffs, lead the expansion of existing  schedules, or expansion of routes<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate general feedback to customers and sales team on the status of the  shipments<\/li>\n<li>Interacting with suppliers, clients and other related agencies<\/li>\n<li>Managing, motivating and encouraging the Operations team towards achieving  desired goal and maximum output<\/li>\n<li>To guide the sales team in driving successful businesses for Import and  Export of shipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Job Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a qualified Operation Manager with successful experience in similar  position<\/li>\n<li>Must have broad understanding of transit and 4PL<\/li>\n<li>Experience of Africa, especially Nigeria would be much appreciate<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Good command over written and spoken English<\/li>\n<li>Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work both independently and  as a part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in multicultural environment and under pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>What is on offer<\/h3>\n<p>Attractive Expatriate Package.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>If your experience, personal characteristics and qualifications meet the  position specifications and your personal objectives are to seek such a  challenge, then we would like to hear from you with details of your current  earnings, up to date CV and explanation as to why your achievements to date fit  you for consideration.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Adexen Nigeria jobs by Joblist Nigeria, vacancies in Nigeria by Joblist Nigeria\" href=\"http:\/\/www.adexen.com\/en\/apply_NGA0442_gm-operations.html\"><strong>Click here to view this Job and apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a logistic company specialized in multimodal transport (Sea freight, Air Freight, Trucks) for a GM Operations.
