Clickatell Messaging helps businesses with mobile customer engagement using SMS. Clickatell MTS offers simplified mobile transactions for services such as pre-paid mobile top-ups.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Manager<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Division:<\/strong> Clickatell Transact<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019re looking for a solutions-oriented, tech-savvy Project Manager, who is eager to manage outsourced professional services solutions and other strategic MTS projects within the mobile landscape in Africa and beyond.<\/li>\n<li>The MTS Project Manager will ensure the delivery of outstanding mobile applications for our financial services industry customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Role of our Champion:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and manage projects from brief, through budgeting, planning and delivery<\/li>\n<li>Manage the day-to-day client liaison through meetings and written correspondence, hold weekly project status meetings ensuring all relevant decisions and discussions are documented<\/li>\n<li>Involve the Programme Manager on all relevant issues: status of business, brand health, projects, timings etc.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the creation and maintenance of project documentation, plans and reports. Produce consolidated reporting to the business and\/or client, including milestone summary, key issues, risks, benefits, summary of costs incurred.<\/li>\n<li>Project reconciliation (budget versus actual and billing versus cost) and profitability where applicable<\/li>\n<li>Review project activities for compliance with procedures and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Perform adhoc project administration duties and responsibilities as assigned and required by the Programme Manager<\/li>\n<li>Develop, in conjunction with the Project Sponsor, a definition of the project. As the Project Manager ensure that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standards (within agreed specifications).<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with a wide range of groups (including internal and external stakeholders\/contributors) in a hybrid project management methodology environment. At times this may involve managing the work of consultants and or vendors to reach our objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Produce project artefacts (i.e. Project Charters, Comprehensive reports, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the management of the Project Repository and any applicable project meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Manage projects from initiation through to closure of the project<\/li>\n<li>Provide other administrative support as required<\/li>\n<li>Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility<\/li>\n<li>Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes to project scope, schedule and costs<\/li>\n<li>Report and escalate to management as needed<\/li>\n<li>Attend and\/or facilitate weekly progress meetings with project team and other key stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Create appropriate weekly &amp; monthly project status reports<\/li>\n<li>Perform risk management to minimise project risks<\/li>\n<li>Work with customer professional services needs in partnership with technology vendors, software engineers and project stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Have a deep understanding of all projects in your portfolio through identifying and managing cross-project dependencies internally and externally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Capabilities of our Champion:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Live up to our values: Be the Champion!
