Adedipe Associates \u2013 We are a compact and dynamic financial\/management consulting firm, in continuous operation now for over 20 years, we are seeking to employ suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head, Human Resources<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The open position is for a reputable organization in the Banking industry. Candidate must be a resident of Abuja, or be willing to relocate to Abuja, and must have valuable experience in the Banking or Finance industry.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidates will have overall responsibility to formulate and facilitate implementation of strategies and plans focused on hiring, developing, motivating and retaining the best talent within the Bank.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she must be able to identify training, developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the Bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of group\u2019s salary productivity target.<\/li>\n<li>To lead and support the development and implementation of HR policy across all departments in the bank including improving performance, maximizing attendance and providing effective management of change.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the Human Resource Department activities and conduct periodic meetings to define goals\/targets and agree work plans, consistent with the overall corporate targets.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the preparation and effective monitoring of the Human Resource budget (including the Bank\u2019s compensation and training budgets), ensuring cost-justified execution of all human capital activities.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a change agent on major project initiatives by the Bank by facilitating and ensuring proper planning and execution of programs to address the human side of change<\/li>\n<li>Provide executive management with key human capital information operational to facilitate informed strategic decision making and control<\/li>\n<li>Implements human resources strategies by establishing Department\u2019s accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, safety &amp; health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures all training and development activities (department specific and general property training) are strategically linked to the organization\u2019s mission and vision.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies performance gaps and works with managers to develop and implement appropriate training to improve performance.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and evaluate training program\u2019s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them staff performance.<\/li>\n<li>Makes any necessary adjustments to training methodology and\/or re-trains as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee implementation of the Bank\u2019s performance management system to ensure it is objective, equitable, transparent and merit-driven<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Psychology or a related discipline<\/li>\n<li>A higher degree (MBA, Masters in relevant field), relevant professional certifications may be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>At least 7 years\u2019 experience in a Financial sector preferably Micro-finance bank which at least two (2) must have been at a supervisory\/managerial cadre.<\/li>\n<li>Expert level Knowledge in Windows Desktop Computer Applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, report writing, presentation and inter-personal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership, culture building and people management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Integrity, ethical standards and values.<\/li>\n<li>High sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc<\/li>\n<li>Track record in designing and executing successful training programs (an advantage)<\/li>\n<li>In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of HR strategy articulation, implementation and HR operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think strategically, innovatively and creatively to appreciate the systematic impact of various policies, practices, issues and solutions on HR.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of the financial sector most preferably microfinance, socio cultural, economic and demographic patterns and implications for HR management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications with a detailed Curriculum Vitae to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@baaconsult.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@baaconsult.com.ng<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>24th August, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only qualified candidate will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>B.
