Sunray Ventures currently works in three different verticals.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Solar Engineer\/Engineering Manager<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Solar Engineer shall be responsible for the complete sales process. Starting with developing a sales opportunity to installation of a system and ending with operation and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Direct reports: This position may have Solar technicians directly report to them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nSales Engineering:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and submit tender documents (specifications, Bill of Quantities, drawings, etc.) and designs as per requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Drives the sales process from proposal to getting a signed contract<\/li>\n<li>Works with legal department to draft sales contract<\/li>\n<li>Leads client conversations through emails, phone calls and in person meetings<\/li>\n<li>Performs energy audits on client sites<\/li>\n<li>Design of PV systems (on grid, off grid, hybrid).<\/li>\n<li>Develops sales proposals to drive the sales process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Project Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops a project plan to execute a sales contract<\/li>\n<li>Design and plan solar power installations;<\/li>\n<li>Leads the supply chain process to order parts internationally and locally<\/li>\n<li>Conduct quality assurance of technical installations of both Daybreak Power\u2019s team as well as the installations of our technical partners;<\/li>\n<li>Direct, coordinate and supervise the installations of solar power solutions;<\/li>\n<li>Trains client on how to operate and optimally use the system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Service:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively monitors installed site performance and creates monthly report for client<\/li>\n<li>Serves as the first line of contact for client complaints<\/li>\n<li>Resolves site issues remotely and through site visits<\/li>\n<li>Ensures customer satisfaction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>General:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in market research and identify solar energy projects throughout Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Develop standard operating procedures and HSE standards for solar installation work.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and coach technical staff to meet the objectives of Daybreak Power Solutions Limited in Nigeria;<\/li>\n<li>Introduce best-engineering practices in the company to ensure it is at the forefront of innovation and good management practices<\/li>\n<li>Review technological trends in the local and global energy sector;<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with regulatory and governmental institutions as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering Preferably Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical<\/li>\n<li>Solar Energy training certificate from Lagos Energy Academy preferred<\/li>\n<li>French language proficiency is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Flexible to travel domestically and Internationally<\/li>\n<li>Must be proud of your work, take ownership, and be passionate about quality of workmanship<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years (5 years for Engineering Manager) of Engineering experience, preferably in the solar industry<\/li>\n<li>Work well in a team environment &amp; have good communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Working conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 50% of time shall be spent in an office environment.
