Drawing on a storied heritage of invention, BHGE harnesses the passion and experience of its people to enhance productivity across the oil and gas value chain.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Petroleum Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ref No:<\/strong> 1813243<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Function:<\/strong> Engineering\/Technology<br \/>\n<strong>Business Segment:<\/strong> Baker Hughes GE Oilfield Services<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nRole Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BHGE has an opportunity for a Petroleum Engineer to join its Geoscience team in Lagos Nigeria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides Petroleum Engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects focused on production enhancement<\/li>\n<li>Integrates data and performs interpretation and analysis using appropriate state-of-the-art techniques to provide best in class solutions for the client<\/li>\n<li>Interacts with the client and builds\/delivers technical solutions to client challenges<\/li>\n<li>Expected to plan and manage workload in order to meet given targets<\/li>\n<li>Handles special projects as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Petroleum Engineering<\/li>\n<li>5\u201310 years\u2019 Petroleum Engineering experience in the Oil &amp; Gas Industry<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in planning and evaluation of production enhancement activities<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable about production technology and production optimisation<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Problem solving skills with a drive for results<\/li>\n<li>Must be action oriented, ethical in value and have a strong client focus<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplined teams working with an extensive client base<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates competency in all aspects of Petroleum Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Must have awareness of Wireline\/LWD technologies and measurements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desired Characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in Petroleum Engineering will be beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Experience from an Oil Producing company will be beneficial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.gecareers.com\/ShowJob\/Id\/60654\/Petroleum-Engineer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baker Hughes, a GE company (NYSE:BHGE) is the world\u2019s first and only fullstream provider of integrated oilfield products, services and digital solutions.
