Six years and one billion trips later, we\u2019ve stumbled upon something a bit bigger: a new way to help tackle congestion \u2013 one of the most serious challenges cities face today.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Greenlight Operations Team Lead<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We\u2019re looking for a Greenlight Operations Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of local Greenlight Hub locations. We\u2019re looking for an experienced team leader who operates with a customer-first mentality.<\/li>\n<li>In this role, you\u2019ll help to mentor and directly lead a team of Uber Experts on how to best build Uber\u2019s relationship with driver-partners, support their operational needs, and guide day-to-day operations of the Greenlight Hub.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the daily operations through operational oversight and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Handle escalations of more difficult support interactions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage scheduling, attendance, and general administration of Uber Experts<\/li>\n<li>Train, mentor, and guide Uber Experts to strengthen quality and efficiency metrics and provide holistic career guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Improve processes on behalf of Uber Experts and partners to the GL program through project work.<\/li>\n<li>You will work together with the city operations teams to make sure your Greenlight Hubs are meeting their market\u2019s needs in terms of supply growth, onboarding, partner-driver engagement, and any other local events or needs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Provide best in class service to ensure Uber is the no.1 brand for riders and driver-partners in your coverage area.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse for Improvement: Collect, analyze, and report on Greenlight performance data.<\/li>\n<li>Manage a team of support-focused Uber Experts to educate partners and deliver a customer-obsessed experience in your Greenlight Hub.<\/li>\n<li>Driving performance improvements and overcoming issues through innovative and practical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Leading new initiatives with cross regional teams to create scalable processes\/structures\/frameworks to take the Uber business to the next level.<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous process improvement to deliver a consistent world-class experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nAdvantageous if you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have previous customer support team management or call centre experience<\/li>\n<li>You have a Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/li>\n<li>SQL basics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What you\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least two years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated background in solving complex customer problems<\/li>\n<li>Team leadership experience in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Ownership: You\u2019re a self starter. You\u2019re ready for the autonomy that comes with building a new team within Uber with minimal oversight<\/li>\n<li>Analytical Skills: Demonstrated background in solving complex customer problems. Basic Excel and data interpretation skills: Ability to understand &amp; create charts, graphs, and pivot tables<\/li>\n<li>Perseverance: You stay poised and calm under pressure. You follow through on tasks and view challenges as opportunities.You\u2019re process-driven. You have exceptional organizational skills, and constantly look to keep improving systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong People Management skills with experience in managing a large team, both locally and remotely.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in call centre management, service team management, or other customer service experience strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Great communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners.<\/li>\n<li>Empathy and dispute resolution skills from experience in fast-paced situations<\/li>\n<li>Be a problem solver at heart with a genuine desire to achieve the best outcome.<\/li>\n<li>People \u2013 Experience in managing professionals and ability to steer and motivate<\/li>\n<li>Organized \u2013 you have excellent organizational and administrative skills and don\u2019t get overwhelmed easily<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven \u2013 you follow through on all tasks with integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uber.com\/en-NG\/careers\/list\/40728\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Marketing Manager \u2013 West Africa<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A successful marketing strategy is essential to our continued business growth.<\/li>\n<li>The Marketing Manager for West Africa will work with a variety of stakeholders to to craft and own the marketing strategy to fuel riders, connect audiences with the magic of the Uber platform, and ensure that the Uber brand is understood, trusted and loved.<\/li>\n<li>They will ensure operational excellence in executions and will be comfortable taking initiative, loves solving problems and will thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment where cross-functional collaboration is paramount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own, develop and execute creative and integrated marketing campaigns from start to finish.<\/li>\n<li>Work on national ATL advertising campaigns and agile PR and experiential ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Own local initiatives and ensure we are always innovating at the local level to build brand love and drive demand. This includes marketing stunts, events, local partnerships local holidays, influencers, field activations and more.<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategic brand and event partnerships that helps in elevating the Uber brand and awareness.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with campaign, CRM and partnerships to execute and localise all initiatives. Also manage marketing experts and clearly track performance.<\/li>\n<li>Allocate country budget to relevant initiatives and ensure actual spend is in line with target.<\/li>\n<li>Act as central point of contact and ensure that stakeholders are adequately informed of initiatives, progress and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Metric ownership for the region and utilize data-driven decision making to improve the performance of our marketing and promotion efforts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You Need to Know\/Have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-5 years marketing experience in a startup or agency<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills is a must<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English is required.
