{"id":62177,"date":"2018-08-15T14:22:58","date_gmt":"2018-08-15T13:22:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=62177"},"modified":"2018-08-15T14:22:58","modified_gmt":"2018-08-15T13:22:58","slug":"american-airsea-cargo-new-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/american-airsea-cargo-new-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"American AirSea Cargo New Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>American AirSea Cargo, a reputable organization whose core mission has been the provision of stress free air and ocean shipping with excellent services to individuals and organizations at the most cost-effective price.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking to hire a result-oriented Accounts professional with extensive experience in Accounts, Finance, Tax and Audit, to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head of Accounts<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting, financial reporting as well as financial servicing functions. Such individual will be expected to do the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of staff payroll and ensure that employees\u2019 salaries are remitted before 30th of each month.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure withholding tax is remitted within 21 days of deduction by the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Pension funds are remitted to the various accounts by the administrators within 10 days of remittance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all creditors\u2019 and debtors\u2019 balances are diligently &amp; completely recorded and accounted for daily.<\/li>\n<li>Implement and maintain a system of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all regulatory financial policies.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a daily report of the balance sheet of all transactions made.<\/li>\n<li>Identify specific deficiencies and areas of weakness in the accounting systems within the first month of resumption and make practical recommendations for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that services and projects profitability yield 100% returns by the 1st quarter by analyzing various costs and revenue and implementing risk management procedures to prevent loss.<\/li>\n<li>Verifies the accuracy of receipts, transfer, etc., by conducting detail audits of shipments on a regular basis and constantly monitors to ensure that order processed match total revenue.<\/li>\n<li>Propose optimization plans for anti-fraud work process and standardization to ensure that fraudulent orders are reduced to zero weekly.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that all weekly payment orders are processed before payment cut off deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The prospective employee will be expected to operate in line with our workplace values which are centered around being a team player with zero tolerance for compromise, providing stress free and excellent service delivery to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants should also meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years managerial experience in Accounts and Financial management<\/li>\n<li>ICAN\/ ACCA or other affiliated professional membership<\/li>\n<li>Experience within a shipping and logistics business environment is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls and financial reporting is required.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, financial modelling and commercial reporting skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nSalary Range is between 100,000 to 150,000 Naira.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s (This must be saved with your full names) to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@shoptomydoor.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hr@shoptomydoor.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Email subject should be \u2018Head of Accounts\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>22nd August, 2018.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nNote<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruitment Process\/Method of Application:\n<ul>\n<li>Our shortlisting methods will be solely based on applicants\u2019 ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our organization\u2019s core values throughout the application process.<\/li>\n<li>These values are embedded in all roles and as such applicants must evidence such to be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Only applications which meet up with the set criteria will be shortlisted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>American AirSea Cargo, a reputable organization whose core mission has been the provision of stress free air and ocean shipping with excellent services to individuals and organizations at the most&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
