The company is duly registered with her Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Building Technician Intern<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise teams of building contractors on site<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date on construction methods and materials<\/li>\n<li>Total compliance to Health and Safety guidelines and building regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting \/ updating superiors on the progress of assignments<\/li>\n<li>Estimate costs for materials, labour, equipment and overheads<\/li>\n<li>Work with suppliers to negotiate and buy materials, equipment and labour at the best prices<\/li>\n<li>Check the quality of suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Help to plan which methods to use for each construction stage<\/li>\n<li>Draft construction plans and blueprints using computer aided design (CAD) software<\/li>\n<li>Monitor building progress against agreed completion dates<\/li>\n<li>Prepare construction sites before work begins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IT skills to use computer aided design (CAD) and other related software<\/li>\n<li>Organisational skill and attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Should have basic knowledge on site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc<\/li>\n<li>Project management and supervision skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s in Building Technology or its related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@lifepagegroup.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@lifepagegroup.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>31st August, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lifepage Group\u00a0is an Investment Holding Company with devoted interest in Real Estate Development, Investments, Training &amp; Seminars.
