and has a vision to \u201cbe available on every table in every locality\u201d; requires the services of a Head of Finance to lead our dynamic team into the next phase of success for our business.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head of Production<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Division:<\/strong> Operations<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Production<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:<\/strong> Operations Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Management Level:<\/strong> Middle Management<br \/>\n<strong>Supervises:<\/strong> Production Supervisor<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Head of Production will be required to oversee the cost effectiveness and planning of the entire production process and to optimise the plant<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will be expected to ensure the availability of finished products, management of raw materials and waste and liaise with Engineering on maintenance planning.<\/li>\n<li>The job holder will be responsible for the health and safety of all personnel on the production line<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will champion CILT, 5S and be able to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the entire production process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review performance of line personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Develop production reports for management.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare SOPs and ensure adherence to them.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor waste to determine trends and areas of improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Set production targets<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of new technology that can be used in the production process.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organizing production schedules (daily, weekly and monthly)<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the production process and ensure that it is cost-effective.<\/li>\n<li>Organizing in conjunction with the head of engineering for the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all production resources (raw materials, consumables, manpower, time, utilities etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Monitor product standards and implement quality control standards.<\/li>\n<li>Approve all production team\u2019s requisitions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possession of a Bachelor\u2019s Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Production Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in a manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in a production role as a supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Experience on a bottling line (PET line an added advantage).<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with current advanced bottling technology e.g Krones, KHS etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Structured, methodical and able to keep track of events and complex matters.<\/li>\n<li>Composure under pressure<\/li>\n<li>People management\/leadership skills and high level of initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to reduce production downtime and waste.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge &amp;
