The objective of the project is to improve transparency, accountability and quality in public financial management in participating States.<\/p>\n<p>As part of measures to ensure full implementation of the project objectives, applications are invited for the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Coordinator<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Anambra<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong> 11 Months<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nResponsible for overseeing all aspect of SPCU\u2019s work, which will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the State government and World Bank on project supervision\/implementation support mission;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee project funds, including replenishment request and appropriate expenditure on goods and services, consulting services, and use of funds for operating expenses;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and evaluate project activities;<\/li>\n<li>Report monthly to the SPSC and STC and advise the committee on strategies that will accelerate and enhance the implementation of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the implementation of the project to ensure that yearly work plans are achieved;<\/li>\n<li>Develop yearly work programs, procurements plans, and financial budget for the project in collaboration with AEA\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and collaborate with the components management teams and desk officers to ensure that they prepare and implement action plans based on the project; Provides technical guide to the AEA\u2019s, particularly World Banks guidelines and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit quarterly reports on the implementation of the projects to the State Technical Committee, State Steering Committee, the State Project Coordinating Units (SPCU)and World Bank<\/li>\n<li>Serving as the Secretary to the project Steering committee;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be, at least a Director in the Public\/Civil Service or its equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience in project management<\/li>\n<li>15-Year work experience with at least five at a managerial level<\/li>\n<li>Team building, communication and networking skills<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation, analytical skills and diplomacy and drive for results<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of World Bank procedures and processes of work<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy and proficient in its utilization<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English Language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nThis post is remunerated based on agreed terms with the World Bank.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send and address a signed and sealed Application with telephone number\/s and email addresses to:<br \/>\n<strong>The Commissioner,<br \/>\nMinistry of Economics Planning,<br \/>\nBudger and Development Partners,<br \/>\nJerome Udoji Secretariat Complex,<br \/>\nAwka-Anambra State.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>5th September, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anambra State Government is implementing a World Bank Assisted State Local Governance Reform Project.
