The overall goal of the activity is to meet the most urgent reproductive health (RH) and mentoring needs of 285,000 conflict affected underserved adolescents, youth and women through gender sensitive, rights-based approaches within host and reclaimed communities and IDP camps in north-east (Borno) and north central Nigeria (Benue).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentoring &amp; Protection Coordinator will be responsible for organizing services to be delivered through safe spaces in internally displaced persons camps in Benue State Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>These services will include mental health services, psychosocial support and case management of gender-based violence.<\/li>\n<li>The safe spaces will seek to promote the well-being and protection of women and children and other vulnerable groups.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will ensure women and girls benefit from targeted personalized counselling, care, emotional support and practical support services provided by trained social workers and case workers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Recruitment Standards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in International Development, Gender Studies, Social Science, Education or equivalent;<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years\u2019 experience in the fields of gender and education with expertise in girls\u2019 education, mentoring\/Adolescent Reproductive Health\/SRGBV;<\/li>\n<li>Must have participated in trainings on GBV in Humanitarian settings<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate (MS Office Package\/Internet, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in GBV, mentoring, RH, adolescents young girls and women programming.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with delivering reproductive and maternal health services, in community and facility settings.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English, strong writing and presentation skills. The overall goal of the activity is to meet the most urgent reproductive health (RH) and mentoring needs of 285,000 conflict affected underserved adolescents, youth and women through gender sensitive, rights-based approaches within host and reclaimed communities and IDP camps in north-east (Borno) and north central Nigeria (Benue).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field Coordinator will support accurate documentation of all activities in target communities in intervention states, conducting routine monitoring visits to mobile\/outreach &amp; facilities including the conduct of on the spot quality checks of documentation &amp; daily aggregation, assist in the preparation of daily, weekly &amp; monthly reports, and provide supportive supervision to the DSO5 &amp; LGA operating teams on M&amp;E activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Recruitment Standards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MB.BS\/MD\/B.Sc, or similar degree with 3 to 5 years\u2019 relevant experience in clinical and community- based care with a sound understanding of RMNCH programmes in resource constrained settings;<\/li>\n<li>Preferred work experience in conflict affected states in north-east Nigeria;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English, strong writing and presentation skills.
