{"id":62846,"date":"2018-08-29T12:57:42","date_gmt":"2018-08-29T11:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=62846"},"modified":"2018-08-29T12:57:42","modified_gmt":"2018-08-29T11:57:42","slug":"nigeria-extractive-industries-transparency-initiative-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/nigeria-extractive-industries-transparency-initiative-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), as part of our efforts to strengthen our technical capacity, provide leadership and direction for our Technical Department, we requires the services of a highly motivated expert to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Director, Technical<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Director, Technical is required to carry out the following specific functions amongst others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define and develop overall technically related operational work- plan for the management on day-to-day basis for the benefit of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Manage cross-functional relationships with other departments and units.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Secretary.<\/li>\n<li>Provide expertise towards successful conduct of NEITI industry audits.<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop and implement a framework for tracking allocation, disbursements, and application of revenues from the extractive sector.<\/li>\n<li>Provide sound and independent opinions on technical issues raised in the\u00a0reports in line with the standard practice and available information.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct periodic technical assessment and review of activities to evaluate the quality and consistency of NEUI industry reports.<\/li>\n<li>Develop systems and processes that will be useful in quality control.<\/li>\n<li>Guide, supervise, coordinate and oversee all the activities of the Technical Department and ensure adequate utilization of human and material resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interested candidates are expected to possess a minimum of Master\u2019s degree in Geology, Engineering, Accountancy, Economics, or related relevant disciplines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 18 years post-qualification experience in relevant areas of the extractive industry five (5) of which should be at top management levels specifically in mining, oil, gas and auditing.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, writing, presentation and research skills as well as advanced proficiency in 1i including use of research tools such as SPSS, STATA etc., are required.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the EITI will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth experience and knowledge of the on-going government reform initiatives\/governance of the extractive industries sector.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of public finance management, good corporate governance principles, exposure to extractive industries operations, regulation, auditing, strategic plan development and implementation, employee performance and change management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their Applications with personal statements showing clearly how they meet the requirements to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@neiti.gov.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@neiti.gov.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0These should be accompanied with comprehensive Resume (as single word document) using the title of the position and name of the candidate as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>9th October, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Only applications submitted electronically and those that meet the minimum requirements will be shortiisted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), as part of our efforts to strengthen our technical capacity, provide leadership and direction for our Technical Department, we requires the services of a&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[26],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
