The Stabilization Centre Manager works closely with the Project Manager to drive the overall project objectives and strategy and provide support to the implementation of Action Against Hunger programs at the base level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update data collection tools ensuring proper implementation and usage at the therapeutic centre.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the mission\u2019s pharmacist on adequate supply of drugs.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the performance of team members through attendance management, service delivery including other stabilization care nurses and lab technicians.<\/li>\n<li>Collection and compilation of quality data for the production of quantitative and qualitative reports regarding all SC activities.<\/li>\n<li>Work and maintain positive relationship with stakeholders and other partners implementing similar activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the proper functioning of the therapeutic feeding center such as provisions of high quality care, medical diagnosis, at treatment of SAM children presented with medical complications.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the implementation of hygiene and sanitation practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate supply of equipments at the stabilization centre including proper use of drugs and equipments.<\/li>\n<li>Compile and share monthly activity reports.<\/li>\n<li>Support the validation of weekly\/monthly utilization, requisition and stock reports for the SC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Medicine, Nursing and other related field.<\/li>\n<li>Team management experience with similar programs.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment and understanding of Action Against Hunger values and principles.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in written and spoken English and Hausa.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/acfinternational.applytojob.com\/apply\/0t18ZKtrif\/Stabilization-Centre-Manager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>11th September, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advert may close before the due date once we receive application from qualified candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Action Against Hunger works to save lives by combating hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable communities, through nutrition, food security, water and sanitation, health and advocacy.
