{"id":63270,"date":"2018-09-05T16:30:36","date_gmt":"2018-09-05T15:30:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=63270"},"modified":"2018-09-05T11:03:51","modified_gmt":"2018-09-05T10:03:51","slug":"unilever-nigeria-plc-new-job-opportunity-share-apply","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/unilever-nigeria-plc-new-job-opportunity-share-apply.html","title":{"rendered":"Unilever Nigeria Plc New Job Opportunity &#8211; Share &#038; Apply!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Unilever Nigeria \u2013 Welcome to Unilever, a global multinational and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company with products sold in over 190 countries and more than 2 billion consumers across the world who use our amazing products everyday!<\/p>\n<p>At Unilever, you can shape your own path as you work with the brands and people that drive our sustainable business growth.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Analyst, KKR<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Number:<\/strong> 18000DCT<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Oregun, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Field:<\/strong> Finance<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Regular<br \/>\n<strong>Job Schedule:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nYour Main Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nOVH, BMI and Forecasting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide assistance in forecasting and other ad-hoc business analysis<\/li>\n<li>OC Governance, continuous improvement on rule based journals + controls<\/li>\n<li>Provide ad-hoc support to countries within the BU<\/li>\n<li>Management reporting including Financial forecasting\/budgeting and longer-term strategic planning processes<\/li>\n<li>Managing and reporting of OVHs and BMI costs<\/li>\n<li>Ensure correct bookings of costs in P&amp;L as per SCOA<\/li>\n<li>Forecast working capital<\/li>\n<li>Support related budget owners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>P2P Analysis:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>P2P OC Governance, continuous Improvement on P2P Processes + controls<\/li>\n<li>Working Capital forecasting, reporting and commentary;<\/li>\n<li>Partnering BMI and Overheads teams with P2P processes<\/li>\n<li>P2P Metrics \u2013 POT (Payment on time), POC (PO Compliance), FPY (First Pass Yield) \u2013 working with\/ supporting OC with directive to improve metrics<\/li>\n<li>Approval of urgent\/ manual payments<\/li>\n<li>Query Escalations from business on poor service\/ issues after contacting AP helpdesk\/ OC\/ BCS Agent<\/li>\n<li>Resolve audit queries which IBM\/ OC cannot resolve<\/li>\n<li>GRNI support<\/li>\n<li>Provide ad-hoc support to countries within the BU<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>O2C and credit controls:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support first line investigation and resolution of EDI issues<\/li>\n<li>Raise manual accruals for CD trade terms<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and validate rebate review<\/li>\n<li>Allocate promotional invoices against correct rebates<\/li>\n<li>Resolve deductions, disputed claims that IBM cannot resolve with the CD team<\/li>\n<li>Provided support for statutory reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Manage customer overdues across all customers<\/li>\n<li>Improve working capital through management of customer payment performance and trade term compliance<\/li>\n<li>Manage and mitigate bad debt and minimise bad debt provision<\/li>\n<li>Work with the shared service teams to ensure effective and aligned communication and deliverables are met<\/li>\n<li>Worked with shared service teams to ensure that accounts are reconciled correctly, customer statements issued in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Work with shared service and other internal functions to ensure that customer claims are placed in a timely manner and support the resolution of deductions on customer accounts<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and timely month end reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills, Experience and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A very strong academic record<\/li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of financial metrics and FFG Financial processes<\/li>\n<li>Very strong track record of delivery in previous Finance roles<\/li>\n<li>Very strong work ethic, resilience in the face of pressure, good team player, ability to meet multiple stretching deadlines, great communication skills and excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical bias and Microsoft Excel skills<\/li>\n<li>PowerPoint capability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your Personal Power!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At BCS we want you to bring your ideas, your motivation and desire to succeed!This part of the role is up to you to complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Culture:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are a highly entrepreneurial fast-paced team running a multi-billion Euro business across 60+ countries with the mind-set of a start-up!
