The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National\/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Engineer, Power<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provideon-site technical and operational support in the implementation, design,development, installation and maintenance of M &amp;E equipment including dieselgenerators, ATS\/ AMF panels, gear switches, rectifiers and battery systems,UPS, inverters, PDF\/ APD panels and HVAC, Implementation of 2G,3G, LTE andTransmission such as Micro wave and fibre optics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans, includingpreparation of power system device evaluation, protective device co-ordinationand arc flash studies.<\/li>\n<li>Survey and Implementation of Power and BSS designs.<\/li>\n<li>Survey and Implementation of 2G, 3G and 4G RAN designs.<\/li>\n<li>Survey and Implementation of transmission design for micro wave and fiber optics<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that RAN projects (BSS and Power) are implemented according to best\/efficienttime line, cost and quality.<\/li>\n<li>Design power system facilities and equipment and co-ordinate construction, operationand maintenance of electric power generating, receiving and distributionstations, transmission lines and distribution systems and equipment whichprovide support during critical network incidents<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and ensure 100% power availability at all network sites.<\/li>\n<li>Track power outages with the view of driving continuous improvement in networkavailability and service quality (root cause analysis)<\/li>\n<li>Design,plan and implement layout of generating plants, power transmission anddistribution lines<\/li>\n<li>Work with both in-house team and contractors to implement all preventive andcorrective maintenance activities<\/li>\n<li>Update technical documentation, drawings and operational logs pertaining toconstruction and maintenance activities<\/li>\n<li>Prepare drawings on specific types of equipment and materials to be used inconstruction and equipment installation.<\/li>\n<li>Implement power plan and design in our RAN project.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that SLAs and project time lines are achieved in RAN projects<\/li>\n<li>React to emergency faults and ensure that all faults and snags are rectified promptlywithin contracted SLAs<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular audit of M &amp; E installations for BTS, BSC MGW and data centres<\/li>\n<li>Complete and submit reports covering all job activities<\/li>\n<li>Estimate labour, material, construction and equipment costs<\/li>\n<li>Inspect completed installations for compliance with design and equipment specificationsand safety standards.<\/li>\n<li>RANimplementation work.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other tasks as instructed by the 2G\/3G Manager Region 3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience,Skills &amp; Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two (2) years postNYSC experience<\/li>\n<li>Empowering people<\/li>\n<li>Growing people<\/li>\n<li>Team work<\/li>\n<li>Customer Focus<\/li>\n<li>High Voltage\/ low voltage\/Extra low voltage.\u00a0 Systems Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Engineering Installation<\/li>\n<li>BSS experience<\/li>\n<li>2G, 3G and LTE experience.<\/li>\n<li>Micro wave and fiber optics<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving<\/li>\n<li>Personal Effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Passion for Excellence<\/li>\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/careers.9mobile.com.ng\/OA_HTML\/OA.jsp?page=\/oracle\/apps\/irc\/candidateSelfService\/webui\/VisVacDispPG&amp;OAHP=IRC_EXT_SITE_VISITOR_APPL&amp;OASF=IRC_VIS_VAC_DISPLAY&amp;akRegionApplicationId=821&amp;transactionid=1006525435&amp;retainAM=N&amp;addBreadCrumb=RP&amp;p_svid=3286&amp;p_spid=61783&amp;oapc=5&amp;oas=IRTvp3W7Fhmw06fAbf7Cvw..\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9mobile, is a Nigerian private limited liability company.
