below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Android Developer<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full stack developer handling both design (UI\/UX) and code development for applications for devices powered by Android operating system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and build advanced applications for Android platform<\/li>\n<li>Manage the full technical life-cycle of Android applications during each development phase.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with team members to brainstorm about new products, provide each other with technical insight and review working drafts.<\/li>\n<li>Document and maintain design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications and ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Work with product managers, clients and sales teams to assess customer demand and usability of new applications.<\/li>\n<li>Perform individual project components within the entire development lifecycle including implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Work from UI\/UX requirements, APIs, mockups to build functional, high-performance Android phone and tablet apps.<\/li>\n<li>Diagnose performance issues, fix bugs to increase the functionality of new applications.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the nuances of fragments and Android XML layouts, and how to create adaptive interfaces that work for multiple device form factors<\/li>\n<li>Obtain buy-in from leadership to secure resources for app development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer\/System\/ Electrical\/ Electronic Engineering\/ Applied physics\/ Computer Science or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of experience<\/li>\n<li>Proven software development experience and Android skills development<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience in Android app development and<\/li>\n<li>Have published at least one original Android app<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Android Studio<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON, third party libraries and APIs<\/li>\n<li>Understand Android UI\/UX design<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of full mobile development life cycle with agile development framework<\/li>\n<li>Excellent documentation skills and use \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Software Developer will manage Java\/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing<\/li>\n<li>The role will also design, develop and deliver high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.<\/li>\n<li>The position will be charged but not limited with the following responsibilities:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Strategy &amp; Planning:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Works with other software developers, the software architect and designers in conceptualising and developing new software programs and applications<\/li>\n<li>Plans own work in phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications<\/li>\n<li>Performs research on the requirements of software users and documents findings to serve<\/li>\n<li>Works closely with the Team Leader, Business Analyst and Product Owner for understanding the functional and system requirement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Acquisition &amp; Deployment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducts research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts<\/li>\n<li>Recommends, schedule, and performs software improvements and upgrades<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operational Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consistently writes, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications and PCIDSS standards<\/li>\n<li>Integrate software components into a fully functional software application.<\/li>\n<li>Write and execute unit tests for developed software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Perform peer to peer code reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and contribute to software architectural design sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and implement source control &amp; version management.<\/li>\n<li>Create technical documentation for all software applications.<\/li>\n<li>Deploy all developed application to the development environment for QA and Testing.<\/li>\n<li>Guide &amp; follow through on developed software applications to ensure successful UAT and subsequent shipment.<\/li>\n<li>Works closely with the QA team to ensure quality and timely software development within his\/her responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging<\/li>\n<li>Administers critical analysis of test results and delivers solutions to problem areas<\/li>\n<li>Ensures robust and sustainable enterprise social collaboration architecture for software development by monitoring matrices of the SOA, and fixing complaints\/bugs logged by customers<\/li>\n<li>Installs software products for end users as required<\/li>\n<li>Creates and manages Application Programming Interface (API)<\/li>\n<li>Writes programming scripts to enhance functionality and\/or appearance of company Web site and\/or related Web applications as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Removes code script from company Web site and\/or related Web applications as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Liaises with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Master\u2019s Degree will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of four (4) years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n<li>Proven hands-on Software Development experience<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience in Java development<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the financial\/payments industry<\/li>\n<li>Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms<\/li>\n<li>Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the Spring Framework<\/li>\n<li>Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer<\/li>\n<li>Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with test-driven development<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Agile development
