{"id":63589,"date":"2018-09-11T13:25:50","date_gmt":"2018-09-11T12:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=63589"},"modified":"2018-09-11T13:22:18","modified_gmt":"2018-09-11T12:22:18","slug":"enaro-energy-new-job-position-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/enaro-energy-new-job-position-available.html","title":{"rendered":"Enaro Energy New Job Position Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Enaro Energy is a startup Mini-Grid company that is currently developing a fully commercial, pilot mini-grid project in Nigeria with the intent to scale up and rapidly install several mini-grids across the country.<\/p>\n<p>We are a technology agnostic, distributed energy service provider that uses a variety of renewable and fossil fuel primary energy sources to provide competitively priced, predictable and reliable electrical power to small businesses and households across the country.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Vice President, Technical<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Descriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As the Technical lead, you will supervise the engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning process, working with high quality partners to deliver fit-for-purpose mini-grids in multiple locations.<\/li>\n<li>You will also oversee operations &amp; maintenance of the pilot mini-grid, ensuring component systems function within their operating envelopes while maintaining a high uptime. You will also implement a robust preventive maintenance program and facilitate quick response and remediation to unplanned outages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinating the permitting processes with the primary construction contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the development of policies and procedures in compliance with all standards applicable to the company, including NERC, NEMSA and REA standards.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising the statutory Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes and ensuring it is delivered to a high quality.<\/li>\n<li>Lifecycle project management of mini-grid project development.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with site selection data analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Collecting data on the existing energy consumption patterns in each proposed location in support of the engineering design process.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating the tender process for the procurement of partners, equipment and technical services for the projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years\u2019 experience in Engineering or Operations &amp; Maintenance in the utility sector.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in modern productivity tools including Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well in a team.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and eagerness to lend a hand wherever needed, even if a specific task may fall outside the core job description.<\/li>\n<li>Experience required in either solar or natural gas based electricity generation with a willingness to learn about other generation technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with operating or maintaining a grid (including mini-grids) will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Experience delivering capital projects in the utility sector with a value &gt;$1M.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of regulated energy markets and utility pricing.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the off-grid and mini-grid electricity systems.<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate degree in Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in related technical discipline preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Industry Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Utilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/vice-president-technical-at-enaro-energy-841844534\/?trkInfo=searchKeywordString%3A%2CsearchLocationString%3A%252C%2B%2Cvertical%3Ajobs%2CpageNum%3A0%2Cposition%3A21%2CMSRPsearchId%3A7f4dddff-6403-44a0-996c-bd1a0f0faf21&amp;refId=7f4dddff-6403-44a0-996c-bd1a0f0faf21&amp;trk=jobs_jserp_job_listing_text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Enaro Energy is a startup Mini-Grid company that is currently developing a fully commercial, pilot mini-grid project in Nigeria with the intent to scale up and rapidly install several mini-grids&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10164,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[26,70],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
