In the not-so-distant future, we will be spreading our operations\u2019 tentacles to other parts of West Africa.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Accountant<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nResponsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyse and review budgets and expenditures for the business<\/li>\n<li>Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports<\/li>\n<li>Analyse revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control<\/li>\n<li>Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions<\/li>\n<li>Manage Taxes.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve accounting discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems for the company<\/li>\n<li>Hold weekly meetings with the MD<\/li>\n<li>Manage the finances of the event rental business and event centre<\/li>\n<li>Determine payroll requirements; maintains payroll data; prepares and processes monthly payrolls<\/li>\n<li>Confirm payments details of orders made and pass on the information to the appropriate unit.( develop a relationship with the bank on getting speedy information on payments from clients)<\/li>\n<li>Manage the bank alerts on clients payments and revert it to CRO promptly<\/li>\n<li>Interacts with internal and external auditors in completing audits<\/li>\n<li>Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors, and clients<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc, HND with ICAN certification, with about 3 \u2013 5 years\u2019 experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV, Application and Cover Letters to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:admin@royaloaksng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>admin@royaloaksng.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for the attention of the \u201cHR Manager\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>18th September, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Please no phone calls.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Royal Oaks is a family-owned and operated Events Rentals and Management Company located in the heart of Lagos.
