We are into Trading and Manufacturing of branded food products for the African market.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Consumer Insights Manager\/Market Research<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Nigeria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The mission of this role is to provide consumer shopper and market insights and managing global projects Ghana and Nigeria through analysing and synthesizing multiple pieces of research and information into clear and compelling recommendations for the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Accountibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brand equity and strategy building based on positioning and communication analysis<\/li>\n<li>New Products development research (ideas, concept, product, pack, pricing\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Product optimization\/ formulation research.<\/li>\n<li>This role has a strong focus on New Product Development, innovation and brand and the candidate will develop an understanding of consumers.<\/li>\n<li>Category segmentation projects based on consumers\u2019 drivers \u2013 portfolio management and business opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Consumer understanding across different markets to leverage synergies<\/li>\n<li>New bundles positioning tests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What can you expect from us?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will have the chance to join an exciting project in a company with a strong focus on growing in the Africa region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What do we expect from you?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaboration \u2013 establishing effective cross-functional partnerships and relationships in a highly collaborative environment.<\/li>\n<li>Continual improvement \u2013 Always looking for ways to improve \u2013 both individually and organizationally. This individual will need to continuously improve their own functional expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Project Management \u2013 Experience defining the scope and issues for research\/analytic initiatives, developing and executing project plans and managing multiple tasks simultaneously, experience leading cross-functional project teams.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise with key Marketing Research techniques \u2013 including segmentation, attitude and usage studies, positioning research, NPD research, advertising experience research and social media research. Importantly, the ability to uncover meaningful insights from the research.<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Thinking and Thought Leadership \u2013 The ability to take the insights from various pieces of consumer research and weave them together with other internal and external information to develop strategies for the organization that will allow it to achieve growth targets.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills \u2013 Ability to structure and deliver presentations clearly, crisply, and compellingly. Excellent verbal and written skills with proven ability to recommend and influence decisions at BU partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Psychology, Market Research, Marketing or other business related degree.<\/li>\n<li>Combination of analytical competencies (qualitative and quantitative research) and strategic thinking in order to discover insights and package and present them in a way that compels the organization to act on them.<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic person<\/li>\n<li>International experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>4-5 years of market research experience, preferably both on the agency and multi-national consumer goods (preferably on a European company)<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in oral and written in English<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidate should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/gbfoods.talentclue.com\/en\/node\/33615617\/4590\/modal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GB foods is a leading FMCG group in West and Central Africa.
