Over the years, DCP has developed a wide range of multi-disciplinary professional services covering both the private and public sectors of the economy through the \u201cDCP Ecosystem\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Office Assistant<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides administrative, secretarial and clerical support to others in the office and maintain an efficient office environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Type documents, reports and correspondence<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate and organize appointments and meetings and assist with event planning and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and maintain office supplies and ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced<\/li>\n<li>Perform work related errands as requested such as going to the post office and bank<\/li>\n<li>Keep office area clean and tidy<\/li>\n<li>Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff members and also take and distribute accurate messages<\/li>\n<li>Greet public and clients and direct them to the correct staff member<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate messenger and courier service and receive, sort and distribute incoming mail<\/li>\n<li>Monitor incoming emails and answer or forward as required<\/li>\n<li>Fax, scan and copy documents and prepare outgoing mail for distribution<\/li>\n<li>Maintain office filing and storage systems and retrieve information when requested<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists and client information<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate and maintain staff administrative records such as staff parking, staff phones and company credit cards and maintain internal staff contact lists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Previous office experience may be requested but this can also be entry level position<\/li>\n<li>Competent computer skills including MS office or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and data collection<\/li>\n<li>Numeracy and literacy skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy, flexibility, reliability and teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Organization and planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Work management and prioritizing skills<\/li>\n<li>Verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s (not more than 3 pages) along with their Cover Letter (of not more than 1 page) to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@dcp.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@dcp.com.ng<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0indicating the position being applied for as title of the mail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Discovery Cycle Professionals (A Division of Discovery Cycle Limited) is a global network of experienced academics and consultants assembled to provide world-class knowledge-based services globally.
