We operate with a burning passion to transform the technological terrain of Africa by delivering value to clients through innovative and effective leverage of cutting-edge technology solutions.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Software Developer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Code:<\/strong> IST\/ABJ\/001<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Technology<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Team Lead Technology<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the supervision of the Team Lead Technology, the Software Developer will develop and implement new software programs for the Organization<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will analyze information to determine, plan and recommend new programs and also make good technical decisions that impact positively on systems and provide useful features.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement new software programs<\/li>\n<li>Generate ideas to improve system design, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction, sales and profit<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and improve the performance of existing software<\/li>\n<li>Participate in every stage of feature development from design, brainstorming and implementation of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of a dynamic team collaborating closely with other developers, teams and product marketing<\/li>\n<li>Design and update software database<\/li>\n<li>Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges<\/li>\n<li>Create functional specifications and designs<\/li>\n<li>Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization<\/li>\n<li>Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Code documentation e.g. Development of Software documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering\/Development or any other related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>A Master\u2019s Degree would be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>At least 4 years of experience in the development and delivery of high-quality software applications. A strong portfolio would be considered where the required experience is lacking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Core Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of OOP concepts.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with development and consumption of RESTful APIs.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with integration of payment platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of any of the following RDBMS: MySQL, Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with NoSQL databases would be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Any two out of the following skills are required:<\/li>\n<li>Cross-platform mobile application development using Javascript Frameworks such as Cordova, Ionic or Onsen UI. Native application development with Java for Android or Swift for iOS would also be considered.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of C# for development of Rich Internet Applications for Desktop.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of PHP. Knowledge of a prominent PHP framework such as Laravel, Symfony or CodeIgniter would be an added advantage but is not mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent planning and team management skills, demonstrating mature confidence and integrity<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to work as part of a cross-functional development team<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Stress tolerant<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Good report writing and documentation skill<\/li>\n<li>Should be proactive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance\/Accounts Executive<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference Code:<\/strong> IST\/ABJ\/013<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Finance\/Accounts<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Managing Director<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nSummary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the finance\/accounts executive will be in charge of the finance\/accounts department and the entire team.<\/li>\n<li>He \/She will be responsible for performing cost accounting functions, capturing income, generating financial report, budgeting, filing, taxation, business recommendations and other accounting related issues in the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly overseeing the finance &amp; accounts department to ensure timely delivery of monthly management report.<\/li>\n<li>Defining, implementing and monitoring effective financial data management systems.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of weekly report and supervision of petty cash.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the finance &amp; accounting tasks are completed accurately and according to deadline schedule for the team.<\/li>\n<li>Filing of the organization\u2019s statutory returns.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the collation of all vouchers and post accordingly in the accounting software.<\/li>\n<li>Computing and remitting the company\u2019s TAX to the relevant tax authority.<\/li>\n<li>Monthly reconciling of all accounts with service providers and detection of fraudulent activities<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing current financial performance relative to previous years and re-aligning the company\u2019s financial decisions as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the crediting of Vendors and processing of all transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with all departments to contribute in process improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Administer and monitor the daily financial systems of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Filing and updating of accounting Systems<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice to the MD on critical financial matters and communicating these in a clear and comprehensive manner<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the supervision of the account team and ensure the daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed accurately and on time.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all expenses are recorded and balanced daily.<\/li>\n<li>Review journal entries for appropriate supporting documentation, remarks, account and amount<\/li>\n<li>Prepare journal entries and monthly bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for accounts receivable activities;
