Our world class science and innovative crop solutions transform how crops are grown to enable millions of growers to make better use of available resources.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Technical and Marketing Head, West Africa<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job ID:<\/strong> 1801637<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job:<\/strong> Marketing<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nRole Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retailers and growers segmentation<\/li>\n<li>Customer Relationship Management<\/li>\n<li>Market research Management<\/li>\n<li>Communication Management (technical)<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities<\/strong><br \/>\nBusiness Accountabilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applies effective grower, channel and influencer segmentation<\/li>\n<li>Develops\/delivers innovative, customer-driven offers<\/li>\n<li>Delivers distinctive value proposition to customer<\/li>\n<li>Designs\/implements effective CRM strategies<\/li>\n<li>Support key accounts and distribution channels.<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of technical value proposition of Syngenta\u2019s solutions across value chain and crops<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating the registration of key products (Seeds and Crop Protection)<\/li>\n<li>Actively develop relationships with outside bodies that have major influence on country business e. g external markets for products, international marketing boards etc.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of technical and marketing strategies, advertisement and its communication according overall AME and country strategies<\/li>\n<li>Surveys on markets (segments, users, sales channels and competition), analysis of the data and identification of positive opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Marketing visits to key customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Transition Accountabilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Member of the Cluster Transition Team.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the building of West Africa marketing team, including the definition of new processes\/ways of working.<\/li>\n<li>Support the necessary activities to ensure business continuity during the transition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience &amp; Capabilities<\/strong><br \/>\nCritical Experience &amp; Knowledge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Technical (Crop protection and Seeds) and Marketing roles.<\/li>\n<li>Preferably, 3-5 years of experience in the agrochemical industry<\/li>\n<li>Advanced English<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate French.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Critical Leadership Capabilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages for performance<\/li>\n<li>Develops people, organization and self<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates across boundaries.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with impact<\/li>\n<li>Leads change and holds ambiguity<\/li>\n<li>Builds a culture of innovation<\/li>\n<li>Focuses on customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/syngentacrop.taleo.net\/careersection\/nigeria\/jobdetail.ftl?job=1801637&amp;tz=GMT%2B01%3A00\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Syngenta \u2013 We are a business that helps humanity face its toughest challenge: how to feed a rising population, sustainably.
